Shane Drossard is being praised as a hero after he saved a woman earlier this week. The homeless man had been camping out under the Washington Avenue Bridge when he（hear）a loud splash at 2 am. He heard a woman's voice（come） from the river. The 35-year-old woman had tried to kill（her） by jumping off the bridge. she didn't die during the fall, she got caught in the running water below.

    WCCO interviewed Shane Drossard the other day. According tointerview, he got into the river, and made great efforts to hold the woman so she wouldn't get swept away by the current.

    As Drossard waited help to arrive, he told the woman that she was beautiful; she had so much to live; he was there for her.(final), the police arrived on time. And the woman(take) to the hospital for treatment. When WCCO asked he did so, Drossard said:" I just wanted to do good for somebody."
