Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said," Fried chicken. "She said I wasn't funny, but she wasn't 1, because everyone else in the class laughed.

    My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite2. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a(n) 3of PETA.     Once when Kevin was selling hats under a big tree, the monkeys in the tree picked some hats and put them on. So Kevin took off his own hat and threw 1on the ground. The stupid monkeys threw their hats too! Kevin soon 2 all the hats and left happily.

    Fifty years later, young Tony, 3of Kevin, also sold hats for a living. 4 a long walk, Tony was tired, so he put his bag of hats beside him and lay down under a big tree, He was soon 5 

    When he woke up, Tony found that there weren't any hats in his bag! Tony started looking for his hats. To his 6 , he found some monkeys in the tree wearing his hats.

    Tony didn't know what to do.  Then he remembered the story his grandfather7to tell him. "Yes! I can fool these monkeys!" thought Tony. "I'll 8 them imitate(模仿) me and very soon I will get all my hats back !"

    Peter and Jack came to my house one afternoon in January, 2018. They encouraged me to try a 200-kilometre bike ride. It was an event to 1 money for disabled children. I thought the idea seemed 2 —to support the unlucky children while riding for a long distance.

    Soon they arrived at Miss Minchin's School5Girls and went into the big house. Miss Minchin was a tall woman6a black dress. She looked at Sara, and then gave a very big smile. "What a7child!" she said. Sara stood8and watched Miss Minchin. She thought. "I am not beautiful, so why does she say it?" Sara was not beautiful,9her father was rich. And Miss Minchin liked girls with rich fathers,10it was good for the school. "Sara is a good girl," Mr. Crewe said to Miss Minchin. "Her mother was French, so she speaks French well, and she reads books all the time. But she must11with the other girls and make new friends, too." "Of course," said Miss Minchin. She12again. "Sara is going to be very happy here, Mr. Crewe."

    Mr. Crewe13in London for a week. He bought many beautiful, expensive dresses for his daughter. He bought books, and flowers, and a big14with beautiful dresses, too.

    When Mr. Crewe 15from London, Sara was very sad, but she did not cry. She sat in her room and thought about her father on the ship back to India.

    "Father wants me to be happy," She said to her new doll. "I want to be a good daughter, so I must be happy." It was a very big, and beautiful doll, but of course it couldn't answer. Sara soon made new friends in the school.
