I have a good friend. 1 name is Peter. We study in Beijing Sunshine Secondary School. We are in the same class. He sits in front of 2. He likes Music lesson best. He 3 many CDs.     One day, a farmer took a bag of wheat（小麦） to town. He didn't know what to do when the bag fell off his horse. The bag was too heavy for him to lift. He hoped that someone would come and help him.

    Before long a man came over. But the farmer's heart sank when he saw the man, because he was the famous judge（法官） in town. The farmer was afraid to ask him for help.

    As soon as he came up to the farmer, the judge got off his horse and said, “You need my help, don't you? Let me help you，” Then he took one end of the bag, the farmer took the other. They lifted the bag of wheat onto the horse.

    “Sir” asked the farmer, “how can I pay you?”

    “Well,” the judge replied, “if you see anyone in need of help, do the same for him,”

    When my best friend Lesa was seriously ill, I wanted to do something for her.1on the first day of her treatments（治疗）, another friend and I went to the hospital to2some time with her. We bought her a small toy clown（小丑）and3it Lemon-Aide. We gave Lemon-Aide to Lesa. We told her that it was to go with her to all of her treatments. We would like her to4that we were thinking of her even though we could not5be with her. She took Lemon-Aide with her to all of her treatments. When the treatments were6, she said she would pass it to7who was also badly ill.

    A few months8, much to my9, she10it to me. Lemon-Aide went with me to all of my treatments. One day while sitting in the doctor's office, I got a good11. I decided to make our own Lemon-Aide and then12them to people. And then we would give the money to the ill people who didn't have money. Lesa thought it was13.     I remember sitting in an airport one day, waiting for my flight. I was1because I had a first-class(头等的) ticket. And in first class, the seats are2, and the food is more delicious, Actually, I had the best seat on the whole plane! Seat 1A. Before boarding, I3a young lady who had a big suitcase(手提箱) and several carry-on bags holding a crying baby. 4, the handle(把手) of her suitcase broke and the suitcase fell to the floor.     "Let me help." I said to her.

    "Oh, we are on the same flight."

    Boarding started, and I7that she needed the first class ticket. "It looks like you could use the first-class ticket more than me. I know how   8it can be flying with a kid. Why don't we trade tickets?"

    "Are you sure?" she asked.

    "Yes, just take my ticket and give me yours. I really don't9. I'm just going to be working the whole time, anyway."

    "That's very kind of you." she said, and expressed her10as we traded our tickets.

    Then we boarded the plane. I was surprised at the good 11it give me while watching her sit down in seat 1A. In fact, seat 24 B or12I was sitting didn't seem that bad at all. At one point during the flight I wanted to see how she was doing. So I13, walked to the first-class section, and had a look. There she was with her baby,14asleep. Seeing they were sleeping in big and 15seat 1A. I felt like a million bucks. I've got to keep doing this kind of thing.

    "I can't believe what I'm hearing!" I thought to myself. Jeff was the last candidate (候选人) for president of Students' Union. My best friend Tony came to me and said, "I'm 1, Mike. I really thought you should be 2."

    Later that day, I happened to pass Jeff in the dining room. I offered him a polite " 3" and walked to my usual table. To my surprise, Jeff put his plate beside mine.

    "I'm, er-I'm just wondering 4 you would…consider coming to work on my team," he said 5. "You are really smart, and you would be a great manager."

    "I don't think so," I replied, feeling 6.

    "Well, if you change your mind, we are meeting tomorrow," he said before moving to 7 table.

    All that night, I thought about the offer from Jeff. Maybe being a part of the election process (选举过程) would give me a chance to make important changes at our school. I 8 to join them.
