Today was a sunny day. In the morning, Robin and I walked to Wu Binbin's home. It was his birthday. I bought some dinosaurs' pictures for him. He liked them very much. We ate the birthday cake and lunch together. We had a good time.

    Shanghai changes a lot in transportation(交通).

    In the past, there were few cars. Now there are many kinds of cars. There were not any bridges above the Huangpu River. Now there are some bridges on it. There were no tunnels(隧道)under it.

    There were no undergrounds. Now there are many undergrounds. There were no light rails(轻轨)and maglevs(磁悬浮). Now there are some lights and maglevs.

    The changes make our lives more convenient(方便). I like the changes.

    Mr. Brown lived in a small town, but he worked in a big city. So he moved there with his wife and two children last Tuesday. On the next day, Mr. Brown took his new car out and was washing it. When a friend came, the friend stopped and looked at the new car for a minute. Then Mr. Brown turned and saw him. The friend said, "That's a new car. Is it yours?" "Sometimes. "Mr. Brown answered. The friend was surprised slowly, "Well, when there's a party in town, my daughter, Jean drives it. When there's a football game, it's my son Joe's turn. When I have washed it and it looks really nice and clean, my wife Linda uses it. And when it needs cleaning, it's mine!"

    Today is Saturday. It is a nice day. The Hus are at Century Park. Mr and Mrs Hu are sitting under a tree. Above the tree, there is a balloon. Mr Hu is reading a book. Mrs Hu is watching some birds. They are flying in the blue sky.

    Ivy is sitting on the lawn. The grass is soft. She is drinking strawberry juice and listening to music. Her brother Andy is on the lawn too. He is eating a strawberry cake. Beside him, there is a dog. The dog is playing with a ball.
