As the train was moving across a wilderness(荒野), the passengers looked out of the windows quietly. When the train reached a bend(转弯处),it1    and a simple house appeared. It was so easy to notice that everybody on the train turned to "enjoy" with eyes wide open. Some passengers began a discussion about it. The young man was also   2   by the scenery.     I will always remember my first day at the University of Lagos. On arrival at the campus, I was expecting to be met by some tired students(as was practiced in my secondary school), 1 every student around was new like myself. I asked the way to the multi-purpose hall but no one could tell me. I asked a number of questions about issues(担心的事）that 2 me, such as where and how to pay my fees, the way to the dining hall and so on, but no 3 was offered. “So in the midst of so many people I am all 4 ” I thought to myself.     A first-grade student whose best friend is battling cancer thought that hours of playing and telling jokes was not enough - he wanted to show his buddy just how he understood the1time he was going through.

    Seven-year-old Vincent Butterfield2the only way was to cut off his hair in support of his best friend Zac who lost his hair through chemotherapy(化疗).

    We go to bed every night and13every morning as parents or children, not as bankers, CEOs or professors. We go for a party as close friends or go for a vacation as a family. We love life as it is. Yet often, we base our happiness and14on how high we climb the social ladder(阶梯)—how much bigger and better a taxi we have. And we fail to notice Rolls-Royce, keeping it dusty in our garage. We should pay more attention to 15we are than what we do！Isn't it the true meaning of life？
