Recently, many people around the world have tried ChatGPT.

{#blank#}1{#/blank#}

ChatGPT is a conversational AI language model. You can chat with ChatGPT by asking it questions and it will quickly answer them in human-like natural language based on its training.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

The model was trained on many different Internet texts, allowing it to have knowledge on a wide range of topics, including history, science, sports, and much more.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#}

According to Andreas Schleicher, an official from Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the chatbot will become a very powerful tool in the development of education. As a device, ChatGPT is going to make learning much more interesting and powerful.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#}

However, New York City's Department of Education announced a ban (禁令) on the wildly popular chatbot ChatGPT — which may help more students cheat(作弊) — from its schools' devices and networks.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

A latest survey among educators and students shows as following:72% of college professors are worried about its impact on cheating.

Over a third (34%) of all educators believe that schools and universities should stop students using ChatGPT.66% support students to use it.

Over 89% of students have used ChatGPT to help with a homework assignment.53% had it to write an essay.

A. What problems may ChatGPT cause?

B. What may it bring to education?

C. What is ChatGPT?

D. Who developed ChatGPT?

E. Why can ChatGPT answer different questions?

F. What do professors and students think of ChatGPT?

We often have a lot of stress (压力) in our life. Sometimes it's useful. As the saying goes, "No stress, no power." For example, stress can help us get good grades in tests. But if we are always under stress, it may be bad for our health. So, how can we deal with it?

Talk to others. When we are stressed out, we should go to our family or friends for good communication (交流). This can make the stress become less and help us find out the ways to relax. As a result, we will feel better.

Do something joyful. Find a quiet place and don't think about anything. Read our favorite books, listen to our favorite music or sing our favorite songs. Of course, we can also go to the cinema to enjoy a wonderful movie. If someone likes staying inside, it will be a good idea to do some housework.

Do sports. Go outdoors to breathe the fresh air and do proper sports such as walking, swimming and mountain climbing. Sports are of great help to us. When we are stressed out, we also have the problems of muscle tension (肌肉紧张). Doing sports can make the muscles move a lot and return to normal.

I have a friend. She had a lot of stress every day. A doctor told her to jump rope when she was under a lot of stress. She followed the doctor's advice. When she felt worried, she started to jump rope and kept practicing. A few months later, she felt much better. Now she is completely different from the past. She never feels worried again.

The Chinese ancient tea ceremony(仪式) is a practice of preparing, serving, and enjoying tea. It might start in the Tang Dynasty or even earlier and it reached its greatest time in the Song Dynasty. The traditional Chinese tea ceremony is usually held in important situations to welcome guests.

Main steps:

*Prepare a tea set. To hold a Chinese tea ceremony, a full tea set is needed, including a teapot, a serving bowl, cups, plates, etc.

*Heat the tea set. This step can help tea fully give off its nice smell.

*Put tea leaves into the teapot. Use the teaspoon, not the hand, to place some tea leaves into the teapot.

*Wash tea leaves. Pour the hot water into the teapot and keep it for a few seconds, and then pour out water quickly.

*Brew tea. Refill the teapot with hot water of a proper temperature, cover it and wait for a few minutes to keep the pleasant smell of the tea soup.

Manners and rules:

If you are the host, please:

*Serve the tea with both of your hands.

*Do not fill the teacup fully, since the hot tea soup might hurt the guests.

*Keep an eye on the teacups of your guests and fill them in time.

If you are the guest, please:

*Receive the teacup with both hands when being served with tea.

*Show your admiration and thanks to the host when smelling or drinking the tea soup.

*Take a small mouthful of tea soup every time instead of drinking it up at a time.

*Dress properly to attend the tea ceremony.

ChatGPT is now commonly used in different fields. Recently, however, many users have noticed that ChatGPT makes silly mistakes, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} result from the following flaws:  ChatGPT only predicts the next thing it could say without any causal model of how the world{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(actual) works. It has complicated syntax (计算) with no semantic(语义的) connection with reality, making it incapable of explaining why things happen. Unlike responsible human communicators, ChatGPT has no accuracy( 准 确 性 ) goals and can easily{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(trick) into producing vast amounts of misinformation.

ChatGPT is also lacking in ethical principles ( 道 德 原 则 ) about telling the  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(true), avoiding harm to people, and treating people equally. ChatGPT does not disclose (透露) its sources. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(evaluate) information requires examining the reliability and motives of its sources, but ChatGPT only gives statements. Shockingly, it sometimes makes up references.

ChatGPT and other large language models are useful tools with many applications, but  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(they) problems provide valuable insights into the limits of current AI. Intelligence requires explanation based on {#blank#}7{#/blank#} causal understanding of the world and not just prediction. Human intelligence is not just predictive processing because it is also better{#blank#}8{#/blank#} pattern recognition, explanation, evaluation, selective memory, and communication. ChatGPT has the potential {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (increase) the amount of real information available to people, but it is also a powerful tool for generating and circulating(传播) misinformation. Intelligent communication depends on values and ethical principles about accuracy {#blank#}10{#/blank#} benefiting people rather than harming them.
