    One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend a truck came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn't believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give it to everyone else. It was a lesson to us that it is possible give without expect anything in return.

    Yesterday morning, I heard a piece of news which my friend Li Lei was admitted to the hospital because of the car accident. The day before yesterday, Li Lei is going to a bookstore to buy a book. He was very carefully when he got to the crossroads. He crossed the street when the traffic light turned to green. However, if he just went to the middle of the street, a car suddenly appeared at his right-hand side and came directly towards him. The driver drove fast and it was too late to avoiding it. Li Lei was knocked by the car. She was carried to the hospital immediately and had a surgery. Last night, I visited him. He looked pale unless he was out of danger.

Why does one become a volunteer of the Telephone Helpline? Well, it's really simple.
After an interview, all volunteers will take a 8-week training course. Upon successfully completing this courses, volunteers will be asked to work at a particular call center. It's necessary for volunteers to be able and willing to visit his call centers at least once a week. Volunteers are expecting to devote at least four hours a week to deal with calls. Current, there are one call center in London and another six centers in other places in England. That's all what I want to say.     I am kind and generous. I am always ready to give hand to a stranger whenever possible.

    There are many reasons why helping others are good. Not only does it give us a great sense of satisfaction, but this satisfaction can result from a sense of belonging. I learnt this lesson by helping a total stranger out last Friday.

    I was riding a bike back home while I came across an old man lying in the middle of the street with a basket full of things beside me. See this, I quickly came to him and help him stand up. I was happy to see he was not serious injured. The old man was too grateful that he was moved to the tears.

    Helping others is really the easiest thing to make one happy!

    Are home visits necessary when they are so many ways to communicate with the students' parent? Some people are for home visits. They thought home visits will make it easily for parents and teachers to communicate and work more closely to help students learn. Home visits will give teachers a chance to better understanding their students. Besides, others think it is a waste of the time and energy to pay home visits. If they keep on touch with the students' parents with text messages, QQ or E-mails, it will be more convenient and save a lot of time. Personally, I think home visits is positive, and teachers can educate their students effectively through home visits.

    If we often question whether that we are told is true, we can find the correct answer and learn more. Several days ago, our teacher offered us an answer to a difficulty math problem in class. Although an answer seemed a little strange, but only I doubted it. I thought of his answer might be wrong, I carefully considered the problem and tried to work them out in a different way. Half an hour late, I finally managed to find the correct answer. When I showed the answer to him, the teacher praised me for my independence thinking.

    From this experience I had already come to the conclusion that questioning can serve as a bridge where helps us find the truth.
