Ever since I was a young girl, my favourite kind of music has been blues ( 布鲁斯音乐 ). The CD I bought was Chuck Berry's Greatest Hits when I was 11 years old. I really it and I would singalong and dance around my bedroom to the music. Even now, whenever I one of Chuck Berry's songs ,I can't help but(无法不……) sing along to the music.
As I got older, I started to listen to other . I would listen to Elvis Presley almost every day after school. I loved music that made me want to dance. I started to love soul music(灵乐) too after a friend bought me a Motown Classics CD my 15th birthday. My favourite hobby was listening to Aretha Franklin or Katrina and the Waves. I looked up to ( 尊敬) a lot of these artists and performers(表演者) and still do that to this day. As quite a(n) person, hearing these people perform with such Confidence and such talent was inspirational(鼓舞人心的) to me.
I find that if I have had a hard day I'm feeling a little low , listening to something upbeat( 积极向上的) can cheer me up. In fact, scientists have that people can make themselves feel good by listening to upbeat songs!

Last night I had a wonderful dream. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} that I turned into a good swimmer.
