Most children like watching TV. It's very {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  . By watching TV they can see and learn a lot and know many things about {#blank#}2{#/blank#} country and the world. Of course, they can also {#blank#}3{#/blank#} over the radio. But they can learn better and more {#blank#}4{#/blank#} on TV. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  ? Because they can hear and watch at the same time. But they can't see {#blank#}6{#/blank#} over the radio. TV helps to open children's {#blank#}7{#/blank#} . It helps to open their minds, too. They learn newer and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  ways of doing things. Many children watch TV only on Saturday or Sunday evening. They are always busy  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} their lessons. But a few children watch TV every night. They go to bed very {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. They can' t have a good rest. How about you, my young friend?

Dear Dennis,

    We just want to say thank you for having us before we caught the plane last week. It was a nice evening, and we enjoyed {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Pete and Sarah. With your help we were able to get to the airport with plenty of time. We often tried to get an {#blank#}2{#/blank#} flight than usual, but it wasn't possible.

    We had {#blank#}3{#/blank#} holiday in Spain. We just loved driving {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the countryside, and we often {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to walk round a mountain village. We met {#blank#}6{#/blank#} friends, Bill and Sue, and they invited us to have a meal with them. They wanted us to stay with them, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} we couldn't, as we had already booked two {#blank#}8{#/blank#} in a hotel.

    The weather was nice. There {#blank#}9{#/blank#} so much beautiful sunshine all the time we were there. Leaving Spain was very sad. It made me want to cry.

    Anyway, we're looking forward to hearing from you, and hope to see you {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. Let me know if you're ever in the area. You must call in.

    After a quick breakfast, I went into the lecture hall in a hurry．A famous teacher was{#blank#}1{#/blank#}to the students．He was holding up a $100 bill．Then he said to the three hundred students，"Who would like this $1 00 bill?" Hands went back again into the air．

    "My friends,"? he said，"you have learned a valuable(有价值的){#blank#}7{#/blank#}today．No matter what I did to the $100 bill! Many{#blank#}8{#/blank#}in our life，we are dropped and stepped on．We feel as if we are worth nothing．But remember, no matter what{#blank#}9{#/blank#}happened to you，you will never lose your value：You are{#blank#}10{#/blank#}valuable to those people who love you．Your value doesn't come from what you do or whom you know, but who you are．"
