This is a picture of my uncle. He likes math. He works in a bank. He helps the bank use their money well. He likes working with numbers. He goes to work by car, but sometimes he walks. My aunt is an engineer. She likes drawing pictures. She works in a big company. She designs computers. She goes to work by bus.  

    Look! This is a picture. It is about Jenny's birthday. Her birthday is on May 25th. On that day, she invited her friends to her house. Li Ming, Tom and I went to her house. We had a very good time. Before eating the birthday cake, we sang the birthday song for Jenny. She was very happy. And we were happy, too. After lunch, we went out to play in the park. We had fun all day.

    There are 365 days in a year. We sleep 8 hours a day, so we have 122 days for sleeping.

    Then our work time has 243 days left. But there are 52 weekends in a year. Each weekend is two days. We lose another 104 days a year for work. It takes us about one hour to have breakfast and supper. This comes to 15 days over a year. But we can't work all that time we need a holiday. Let's say we have three weeks' holiday. We don't work all day. Four free hours each evening takes up 61 days. We have to remember that we get 2 days' holiday at Easier, 3 at Christmas and 1 at the New Year. There are also 4 Bank holidays. Take those 10 days away and we have 32 days for work. But then we have one and a half hours' lunch every day, and half an hour's coffee break. That comes to 30 days a year. This means that we have only a few days left for work every year!

    I am Chen Jie. I usually get up at 7 o'clock but not on the weekend. I go to school at 7:30. We have four classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon. I like Chinese very much. We have a Chinese class at 9:30. I go home at 5:30 pm. I eat dinner at 6:30 pm. Then I do my homework at nine o'clock.

    Thanksgiving Day is a holiday on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. It is on a different date every year.

    Thanksgiving Day is a time for families and friends to get together for a special meal. Even if they live far away, family members gather at their houses. They often have a turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy", a pumpkin pie and vegetables for dinner. Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.

    Some people have a four-day holiday so it is a popular time for trips or to visit families and friends.
