About 3 years ago, something terrible happened to me. Our boat (catch) in a terrible storm. enormous wave covered our boat all at once and my younger brother (fall) into the sea. Our boat survived. But it was going the direction of the whirlpool. When we were on the edge of the whirlpool, I felt (calm) than when we were moving towards it. When the boat was on the inside of it, we were going around in (circle ) at great speed. I tied myself to a barrel, could help me to float. Then, without (wait), I dived into the sea. My elder brother was too (terrify) to leave the boat and sank into the bottom of the whirlpool. I did escape. The waves carried me to an area where I was picked up by some of my old friends, but they were unable (recognise) me, for my hair had turned white in less than a single day.
