Once upon a time, a young man wanted to go to a village on business. Halfway there was a mountain. Before he left home, his family warned him to stay calm and climb onto trees if he was in face of beasts. In this way, the beasts couldn't do anything to him.
The young man remembered these words and began his trip.
He walked for a long time carefully and found that no beasts were out there. He thought his family's worries were superfluous. And he became relaxed as he walked. Just at that moment, he saw a fierce tiger running to him and he climbed onto a tree nearby at once.
The tiger roared around the tree and even jumped to reach the man. The young man was too scared to hold the tree and fell right on the back of the tiger. Full of fear, he had to hold the tiger tightly. The tiger thought that must be a giant beast. So it was afraid and started running madly.
People on the road didn't know what happened and said, "Look at the young man. He is riding a tiger!" "Cool!" "Superman!"
Hearing these words, the young man was very angry. "Why can't they see I'm suffering a lot? Don't they understand I am in fear and almost scared to death? "he said to himself.

Every four years, in a different country around the world, there is a big sports competition. It is like the Olympics but only for one sport-the most popular sport in the world! What do you know about the history of the World Cup?
The first World Cup was in 1930, in Uruguay(乌拉圭). In the final game Uruguay beat Argentina and became the first World Cup winner. 13 countries played in the first World Cup. Now there are32 countries in the competition.
The first time people saw the World Cup on TV was in 1954 when Switzerland held the competition. Now about 3 billion people in the countries all over the world watch the World Cup on TV.
Until 2002 the World Cup was always in a European or an American country. South Korea and Japan held the first Asian World Cup. The first African World Cup was in 2010 in South Africa.
The 2018 World Cup was the 21st one. It took place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded(授予)the hosting rights in December 2010. This is the first World Cup held in Europe since the 2006 tournament(比赛)in German, and the first ever to be held in Eastern Europe. To keep travel time under control, all the places for this big game were in the east of Russia.
In 2011, when British photographer David J. Slater was visiting a park in Indonesia, his camera was taken away by a group of black monkeys. The result was hundreds of monkey selfies(自拍照). The best ones show a female monkey smiling toothily for the camera. Slater then sold the photos and they became popular on the Internet.
Nobody knew they would create a copyright battle some years later.
Last month, Wikimedia Commons put the monkey selfies online under a collection of free photos without Slater's permission. Slater asked the website to take them down since he owns the copyright.
However, Wikimedia Foundation-the organization behind Wikimedia Commons-refused Slater's request. They said that according to US copyright law, whoever pushes the button on the camera owns the copyright to the photo. It was the monkeys but not Slater that pushed the button. What's more, monkeys don't own copyright. "US copyright law says that works that come from a non-human source(血统)can't ask for copyright, " said Katherine Maher, Chief Communications Officer of Wikimedia.
Slater argues that the pictures belong to him as they were taken from his camera. He said he bought the cameras, he spent a lot of money to travel to Indonesia, and it was his carelessness that allowed the monkeys to take his cameras away. All these have made him the author of the picture, no matter who pushed the button. In a sense(在某种意义上), the monkeys could be regarded as his assistant, Slater said.
As of now(到目前为止), there has been no result in the Monkey Selfie case. Who do you think will win this interesting battle?
①Monkeys took some photos with Slater's camera.
②Wikimedia Commons put them online.
③Wikimedia Foundation refused to take the photos down.
④Slater asked the website to take them down.
