I{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(travel) to many places since I went to college. What impressed me deeply was{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(I) travel to Tibet last year. I took the train there with my friends and enjoyed the scenery all the way. When the train was close to Tibet, I had{#blank#}3{#/blank#}headache. Then I{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(find) it difficult to breathe and felt{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(tire). I knew that all my symptoms(症状)were called altitude sickness. And it took me a few hours to get used to it.

    Tibet is known as the “Roof of the World”{#blank#}6{#/blank#}has a number of famous{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(place) of interest including Potala Palace and Mount Everest. So when I felt a little{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(well), I couldn't wait to head towards them. I was very happy{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(see) that the top of Mount Everest was covered with snow even{#blank#}10{#/blank#} July and when the sun came out, it became pure and beautiful.

    I had just visited my best friend in hospital with my mum，{#blank#}1{#/blank#}hadn't seen my friend since she'd gone into hospital six months earlier.

    I knew where she was coming from as she was{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(grave) ill, but as I'd been visiting her every week I had stopped seeing the obvious; my friend{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(lose) most of her body weight and her hair was falling out, it wasn't looking good.

    After the visit I took my mum to the station{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(see) her off on her train; the mood was understandably bleak but I stayed positive as well you do, don't you? I went to get{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (we) some coffee and my mum some food for the journey. I misread the amount of my purchase and didn't have enough money.

    {#blank#}6{#/blank#}some reason, this was the straw that broke the camel's back; I burst into uncontrollable{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(tear) as a massive queue was gathering behind me. A woman came up to me and offered to pay, putting an arm round my shoulder, no questions{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(ask).

    I could barely say thank you through the confusion and the flood of emotion that was pumping through me {#blank#}9{#/blank#} running off in embarrassment. After composing myself I ran round the station {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(try)to find this kind lady to thank her properly but never did.

    According to a recent survey, violence does exist in schools. Students show their fear and parents and teachers also {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (express) their great concern about it. Experts hope {#blank#}2{#/blank#} whole society will pay more attention to the mental health of adolescents.

    Nowadays, school violence is a big issue. I think this is a phenomenon (现象), which {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (call) for our great concern. We should try every effort {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (prevent) school violence happening, for more and more students would drop out of school if their personal {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (safe) could not be guaranteed (保证). In fact, violence can be learned. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (actual), children learn violent behavior from adults or from {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they see on television or the Internet.

    If I meet with school violence, I will not answer violence with violence, for it will result in {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (much) fights. I will tell my teachers or parents about it. I think they will help me deal with it well and protect me {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the bad guys.

    All in all, we students should behave {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we) and keep away from violence.

    The band of light that you see isn't actually milk, of course—it's a galaxy (星系). A galaxy can contain many millions of stars held together by the force of gravity. Our solar system, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} includes the sun. Earth, and other planets, is part of this galaxy called the Milky Way.

    The Milky Way {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (make) up of hundreds of billions of stars like our sun. And like our sun, most of these {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (star) have at least one planet moving around {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (they). Earth is located about halfway between the center of the Milky Way and its outer edge.

    At the center of the Milky Way is one of the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (strange) and deadliest things in the universe: a black hole. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (scientist) believe a black hole lies at the center of most galaxies. The Milky Way's black hole is called Sagittarius A*. Its gravity is {#blank#}9{#/blank#} strong that it pulls in anything that gets too close including stars. So we're {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (luck) that Earth is located far away from the center!
