Mike must get up before half past six on weekdays, but he cannot get up so early in the morning. He often gets up at a quarter or ten minutes to seven and forgets things before he goes to school. So he often buys school things in a shop on his way to school. The shop opens early in the morning. It opens at half past six every morning. It sells cheap things, but they are something not very good. Mike often says, “I'm not going to that shop. The things in the shop are not dear, but they aren't good enough.” But he cannot get up early and he cannot remember to put away his school things before going to bed and to take all the things in the school bag!     ZhangJiajie is one of the most famous travel place in China. It is in Hunan. You can go there by bus, by train or by plane. There are many beautiful spots（景色). You can climb mountains, eat good food, take nice pictures and buy some funny presents. It's really a wonderful place.

    On Christmas Eve---the night before Christmas Day, children are very happy. They put their stockings (长筒袜) at the end of their beds before they go to bed. They want Father Christmas to give them some presents.

    Mr Green tells his children that Father Christmas is a very kind man. People also call him Santa Claus. He comes on Christmas Eve. He lands on the top of each house and comes down the chimney (烟囱) into the fireplace (壁炉). He brings children a lot of presents.

    Christmas Day always begins before breakfast. The children wake up very early. They can't wait to open the presents in their stockings. Then they wake up their parents and say “Merry Christmas!”

    Do you know what “Christmas” means? Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ (耶稣基督). When Christ was born (出生) many people gave him presents. So today, people still do the same thing to each other.
