Four Seasons

    Spring is the best season of the year. It lasts from March to May. The days get longer. The nights get shorter, and the weather gets warmer. Everything begins to grow. Grass and trees begin to turn green. Flowers begin to come out. Children begin to flykites outdoors.

    Summer comes after spring.  It is the hottest season in theyear. It lasts from June to August. People try to find a cool place then. They always go swimming in pools, lakes, and rivers.

    Autumn is the harvest season. It gets cool. Farmers begin to reap (收割).They are busy from September to November.

    The coldest season ofthe year is winter. It's from December to February. The days are short and thenights are long. It snows sometimes and that makes the children happy. They make a snowman and dance around it. They go ice-skating as well.

    There are some animals on my grandpa's farm. Look at the chicks. They are small. And there are some ducks in the river. They are swimming. They are bigger than the chicks. And there are five pigs there. They are bigger than the ducks. And they are fatter than them, too. They are sleeping now. The cows are drinking water. They are taller and bigger than the pigs. Look at the white horses. They are the tallest of all. I like them very much. And I love all the animals. They are lovely.

    I'm Amy. I have five friends. Oliver is a clever boy. Chen Jie is from China. She is helpful at home. Lili is not clever. But she is hard-working. Lingling is a shy girl. Li Fang is a quiet girl. And she is very polite, too.

    Zoom and Zip are good friends. They are planning a trip(旅游).Zip is going to Australia(澳大利亚)!It's so warm there. He can swim all day. He has a new bathing suit(游泳衣)and sunglasses(太阳镜).But Zoom doesn't like swimming. He likes skating. So he is going to Canada, it's winter there now. He can skate all day. He has winter coats(冬衣)and some new skates(滑冰鞋).

My name is Dave. I'm at a new school. It is my first day. My new teacher is friendly. But I have no friends. I'm worried(担心的,闷闷不乐的).I go to math class. I make a friend. She is Sally. She is cute. I go to Chinese class. I make a friend. His name is Tom. He is gentle(温和的,有礼貌的).I go to the lunch room. I make lots of friends. They help me. School is over. I say goodbye to Sally. I'm happy now.
