可爱的猴子

    Look at those monkeys! How lovely they are! A mother and a baby are sitting on the hill. The mother is talking to its child. Some monkeys are jumping up and down. Others are swinging. I throw some bananas to them. One of them gets a banana. It runs away quickly and eats the banana behind the hill. I take photos of them. Suddenly I find two of them picking up stones. What do they want to do? Ha! They are talking photos, too.

We have six lessons today. At 8:00 a. m. we have Chinese. At 8:50 a.m. we have Maths. At 10:00 a. m. we have Science. At 10:50 a.m. we have Music. From 11:30a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we have a lunch break. In the afternoon, we have English and Art.

    Today is Sunday. Jenny is very happy. In the morning, she makes her bed and cleans her bedroom. In the afternoon, she plays with her teddy bear. Then she reads a book. She watches TV after dinner. Then she listens to music on her bed.

    The summer holiday is coming. Everyone is getting ready for middle school life. We have different plans for the summer Holiday. Li Ming will go to summer camp in Britain with Danny. They'll visit some famous places. Peter is going to travel around China. Then he'll go back to Canada with his parents. His grandparents miss them very much. Wang Hong is going to Harbin with her friends. They will ski there. Guo Yang will travel around the country with his family. And he will take swimming classes. He wants to be a swimming star in middle school.

    Sandwich was an Englishman. He lived in the 18th century. Sandwich was rich, but he liked to play cards for money. He often played for 24 hours, and didn't even stop to have his meals. He asked his servants to bring him some meat and bread. He put the meat between the two pieces of bread and held the food in his left hand while he played cards with his right hand. People liked Sandwich's way. From then, people ate bread and meat as Sandwich did. From the name of the man, Sandwich, we have the word of the food sandwich today.
