Today is Sunday. We don't go to school. So after breakfast I go to the park with some of my good friends. In the park, there are many people. They are doing exercise. Some women are dancing. Some people are playing badminton. Some girls are skipping, and some people are walking and running. Why do they work so hard? Because they want to be strong and healthy.

    Hainan is my hometown(家乡).It's a very beautiful island.The buildings are tall,and the trees are tall,too.Summer is the favourite season for many people in Hainan.It's hot and sunny.The boys and girls can wear their sunglasses and beautiful T-shirts.They can swim in the sea.too.The favourite drink in Hainan is coconut(椰子) juice.It's fresh and sweet.It's very delicious.Spring is very warm in Hainan.Autumn is cool.It seems( 似乎) that there is no winter in Hainan because it's warm and cool in winter.It's not very cold.

    Elephants are mammals. They can be four metres tall. They don't eat meat. They only eat fruit, leaves and grass. They need a lot of food, so they spend most of their time eating. They only sleep for about four hours every night.

    The elephant has two long, white teeth called tusks. It is the only animal with a trunk-a special long nose. The elephant can use its trunk to pick up big tree or a small peanut. The elephant is also the mammal with the biggest ears. They look like two big fans.

    Elephants live in Africa and Asia. They live together in family groups. They are very strong, very smart and of course, very, very big.

    The students of Grade One are going to have a winter camp. They are going to live together for a week. No one is going to help them. They must go shopping and do the cooking and washing themselves. On the first two days, they are going to stay in the camp. They can watch videos and play computer games and get everything ready for the next five days. On the third day, they are going to visit a modem car factory.
