Lucy is my friend. She lives in a small house near a park in Canada. I am ten, Lucy is ten , too. Lucy tell me more about Canada. I know Canada is such a big country. So I want to learn English.     London is the capital(首都) of England. The famous Hyde Park is in London. The park is very beautiful. And Big Ben is in London, too. It is old and tall. It is very famous. Tower Bridge is famous, too. River Thames(泰晤士河) is very long and wide(宽的). Some boats are on the river every day.

    Tom always can't sleep well at night. But he was never late for work. He went to see his doctor on Sunday afternoon. He took the subway to get there. He met his boss on the subway and they talked for a while.

    Tom got some sleeping pills from the doctor. That night Tom took the pills. He had a nice sleep. He went to work happily on foot in the morning. Getting into the office, he said to his boss “I had a nice sleep and got up happily this morning.” “That's fine,” shouted the boss, “but where were you on Monday?”
