    During the last summer holiday, my parents and I paid visit to my grandparents by train. At first, we saw one hill after other. Then which came into view were fields with green crops. In a six-hour trip, we arrived at my grandparents; house.     With the development of modern technology, there are a plenty of ways for us to contact people. WeChat is probably our favorite, mainly because of its convenient.     I'd like to share with you my progresses in study in these three years.To be,honest,I was not so good at my study when I came to high school,often feel tired out and at Loss.Sometimes,I am even on the point of giving up.Therefore, my change happened when my teachers and my classmates as well as came to encourage me one day in Senior Two. It was their encouragement and my own thinking which resulted in my achievements in study finally.

    I am good at English and always get high marks in English test. Last month, an English speech contest held in our school. I take part on behalf of our class. Proud of my excellently English, I ignored my teacher's advice but didn't prepare for the contest at all. The important day came in. When it was my turn, I walked onto a stage confidently. However, the moment I saw the speech topic, my mind went complete blank. I was at a loss for words because I knew something about the topic.     In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid visit to my uncle there. It's a long and bored journey. But at the moment I arrived, I fall in love with the city. It's such beautiful a city that I can hardly find any word to describe it. The streets are clean and the sky is blue. If you walk along the coast, you can feel the wind blow on your face. The sea is vast and sometimes you can find a boat or a ship. You may also do some fishing as far as it is permitted. Moreover, I think the driver there drive too fast in the street. You can never be too carefully when crossing the street.
