    Here I am in the middle of a city, 350 miles far away from our farmhouse. Do you want to know why we move last week?     It is five years now since I graduate from No. 6 High School. Last Saturday, the class that I was on held a get-together, which took us a long time prepare. It was indeed not easy to get in the touch with everybody and set a well time for all of us. We all enjoyed this precious day greatly, remember the time we spent together and the people they were familiar with. It was a pity which some of us were not present as they had gone to abroad for further study, but they called back or sent greeting card from different places.

    My friend Lin Tao was born in Liaoning Province to the northeast of China. He met with a traffic accident when he was younger. As a result, he lost one of his legs. Although he suffered a great deal, he never loses his heart. Lin Tao has been published a book. He enjoys playing his guitar and listen to music. He does excellent job in school. But he is always ready to help those in trouble. He wins the respects of his classmates and his teachers.

    In my opinion, Lin Tao is extreme brave and he sets a good example to we all.

    Last Friday I saw the worst weather in years. In the morning, the sun was completely blocked so that I could see something clearly. I stayed at home, look outside. That came into sight was a flash of lightning. Seconds later, the noise of thunder broke the silent. Then a strong wind starts to blow into my room. Pieces of paper on my desk was blown high into the air and some flew out the open window. Then I closed the window when it rained hard and near broke my window.

    What a bad weather! I hate it so I can't go out to play.

    The person that we should learn needn't be rich or famous. It can be a person we live with. For I, it's my father. I still remembered the days when I was a child. Although he had plenty of works to do, he still stayed with me but played games with me. With time gone by, I'm in Senior 3 now. It is I who has no time to stay with him now!     One of my happiest childhood memory was having dinner with my parents and two sisters. As a result, last year I decided that the whole family would have dinner together three days a week because we find that we seldom had a chance to get together as a family. We thought it would be possible for everyone set aside three evenings a week for a sit-down dinner. First we tried setting three fixed day for our experiment­Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. After a couple of weeks of try this plan, almost everyone was unhappy. For a while, the kids began to resist the idea. They say they would rather to spend the time with their friends or take part in some activities. Gradual, though, they began to see these evenings together for a very different way. We laughed a lot and we discussed about each other's problems. Since a few months, we all felt we had been able to build much stronger relationship with the family than we had before.
