How to become a radio DJ

  Do you have a great voice? Have you ever thought l about becoming a radio DJ? Working as a DJ can be exciting but it also needs experience．If you want to be a DJ，the following are usual ways to start .

     1. Intern(实习)．It's a dirty job．Unluckily，most radio station workers start as an intern．This means working long hours without pay．It will help you do better at the radio station．   

    2. Events．Because you can't get a DJ job with no experience，you might want to work as a DJ for events. Weddings，parties and special situations all need DJs to  provide the music and some laughs．This is a great way to learn to work with people and play music．

    3.Fill in(替补)．If you work at a radio station，you can ask to be put on the ‘‘ fill in ” list for DJs．So if the main DJ gets sick，you can fill in for him or her to get some experience．

    4.Late，late night．Usually the first job for a DJ is the late shift(晚班)．In other words you may be on air not only from l a．m．to 5 a．m．，but you will get more experience·

    When school was over for Christmas，Pedro and Emmett talked about Santa Claus．Emmett said that he tried to be good and wanted a toy car．Christmas morning arrived and there was a new bicycle just as Pedro wanted．Also there was some fruit and a toy car．Pedro couldn't wait to go to Emmett's house to show him．

    “Pedro，Santa Claus didn't come”Emmett said．Pedro could see the tears(眼泪)in his eyes．Pedro without thinking，said，“Emmett，Santa came．He thought you were spending the night with me，and he left your toy Car at my house．I was just bringing it to you．”

    Emmett smiled happily．He hugged(拥抱)Pedro，and Pedro hugged back．At nine years old，at that moment，Pedro once again learned there really was a Santa Claus．With love，everyone could be Santa Claus for anyone．

How to be a good student

    As teenagers, how to be a good student? In my opinion, there are a lot of things we should do.

    Firstly, live a healthy life. We should have healthy eating habits.  Do more exercise to keep healthy. Secondly, have a good study habit. We should listen to the teacher carefully; try our best to finish homework on time. Thirdly, try to be an honest student. Don't tell lies and never cheat in class. Finally, obey the school rules. Don't go swimming alone without permission. Never take the mobile phones to school. Don't fight with others. Last but not least, we should be polite to the teachers and classmates.

    I hope we all become good students.

    Great white sharks (鲨鱼) in the Pacific Ocean. Wildebeest (角马) in Africa. Arctic terns (北极燕鸥) in the Atlantic. At first, these animals seem quite different. One swims, one walks, and the other flies. But they all have one thing in common. They all migrate (迁徙).

    Some migrating animals move to a place with better temperatures. Some go to find food or water. The groups travel as one, but during the trip, they face many different challenges.

    One challenge is distance (距离). Some migrating animals take very long trips. For example, one great white shark swam from Australia to South Africa and back. In nine months, it swam about 20, 000 kilometers!

    Another challenge is finding enough food or water during the journey. For example, each Mali elephant needs over 200 liters (升) of water each day. To get this, they need to go from one waterhole to another.

    Besides, migrating animals have to keep away from other animals because they want to eat them. The zebra (斑马) has to avoid lions. Traveling as a group helps keep them safe. When one zebra is in trouble, the other members make a circle around it.

    By working as a group, migrating animals travel to live better lives.
