Beijing has many charms. It is a perfect place to start exploring(探索) the wonders of the whole country. A four-day tour is possible to cover the greatest sights and enough to make you love the Chinese capital.

    Day 1

    Any visit to Beijing is incomplete without a walk on the Great Wall. Most people choose to visit Badaling, but Juyong Pass is less crowded but more wonderful. There are many locations for great photos. Also, pick a clear day to go so that your eyes can reach the beacon tower(烽火台) far away.

    Day 2

    All sites designed for this day run through the center of Beijing. If you don't plan your day carefully, after hours of walking you still won't finish a small part of the tour. First, start at the Temple of Heaven. Next, have lunch at Qianmen Street, enjoying the famous Peking Duck. Then, spend a whole afternoon in the Tian'anmen square, the largest city square in the whole world.

    Day 3

    If your feet ache after two days' sightseeing, you may want to slow down. You can visit the Capital Museum or walk along Wangfujing, the modern shopping street. If you are wondering how Beijingers used to live, you can go to the hutongs, enjoying the moments there and relaxing yourself.

    Day 4

    This day is designed for those with endless energy. The Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan, the Lama Temple are all good places to go. You may want to spend the last night in Beijing in Sanlitun, the serious nightlife area and a favorite with local people and foreign friends.

Money VS Family

    Rama's family is very big. He has three kids, two sons and a daughter.

    He works for more than 16 hours a day. The kids cannot see him as he leaves home early in the morning before they wake up, and he reaches home around midnight when kids have slept every day. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    Though Rama's family is one of the richest families in the city, he still works so hard. One day, Rama's family went to their beach house to spend their vacation. His daughter asked, "{#blank#}2{#/blank#}"

    A good book can be satisfying, can improve your knowledge and can teach you a lot. There are several ways to develop a lifetime reading habit.

    Set times. You should have a few set times every day when you'll ready for at least 5-10 minutes, no matter what happens. For example, make it a habit to read during breakfast and lunch (and even dinner if you eat alone)

    Always carry a book. No matter where you go, take a book with you. When you leave a house, make sure to have at least one book. You may keep the book in the car, or into the office or to anywhere you go, unless you're sure you won't have time to read.

    Make a list. Keep a list of all the great books you want to read. You can keep this in a pocket notebook. Be sure to add to it whenever you hear about a good book. Keep a running list, and cross out the ones you have read.

    Find a quiet place. Find a place in your home where you can sit in a comfortable chair without television or computer near the chair. There should be no music or noisy family members.

    Set a high aim. For example, tell yourself that you want to read 50 books this year. Try your best to finish reading them. Just be sure you're still enjoying the reading.

    Liu Wei is very famous in China because he can play the piano with his toes(脚趾). One day when Liu Wei was only 10 years old, he played a game with some friends. He lost both his arms because of electricity(电). Liu Wei was very sad when both his arms were cut off after the accident. But soon he had to make a choice. "For people like me, there were only two choices. One was to give up all the dreams, which would cause a quick death. The other was to work hard without arms to live an excellent life." says Liu Wei. Liu's dream was to be a pianist. His excellent life included a show on China's Got Talent(《中国达人秀》) and a wonderful performance(演奏) playing the beautiful Marriage D'amour with his two feet on the piano. But many people believe that children can learn a lot from doing regular chores.
