When I was young, I was terribly poor in the Chinese. Be afraid of expressing myself was one of the reasons why I rarely did well in school. Once I failed in a mid-term exam. When I got the papers, I realized things could have been better if I listened to the teacher much more attentive. So I turned to my teacher for helps and he told me, "Where there is a will, there is a way. If you are devoted to learn Chinese, you'll make it." I couldn't agree much. From then on, I began to work harder. Out of my expect, I made great progress soon. Today, Chinese is which my strength lies. And I'm grateful for my Chinese teacher.

    I used to delay things until deadlines, that caused me much trouble. Therefore, I thought of some ways to get rid the bad habit. First, I took a shower right after I got home from school. It refreshed me but made my thoughts more active. Furthermore, in order to avoid being constant disturbed by my cell phone, I left them with my parents. The final strategy I use was scheduling. I managed to planning my days ahead of time so that I could break up my tasks instead of having too many work to do on the last day. By using these simple technique, I've improved my efficiency and made a great progress.

    In order to enrich our school life and promote our English learning, the English teachers of Grade II organized an English Talent show last Friday afternoon. Despite of the fact that we were busy with our study, we took active part in it.

    The show lasted more than two hours and it was a great success. Different forms of English programs ranged from singing, dancing, short plays, musical plays to English dubbing performances were displayed, which offers us a great visual feast. There were lots of excitement and cheers during the whole process. That impressed us most was the play Snow White. This activity was warmly welcomed by we students, all of which considered it helped to arouse our learning interest. It is suggested that such activities could be held more regular so that we can really combine learning with joy and develop our learning potential.

Sandy arrived at the museum at last. She was so tired that she has to find a chair to sit on. If she sat down, she noticed nice painting on the wall. She stared with it for a long time— such long, that she fell asleep.

I was far behind most of my classmate when I become a senior three student. Moreover, I couldn't follow the teacher completely in class. One day, I was too much exhausted and confused to concentrate on which the teacher taught. Unfortunate, I was invited to share my own idea. As you can imagine, I couldn't say a word. Feeling embarrassing, I ready to be criticized. Much on my astonishment, the teacher instructed and encouraged me patiently. I was such touched that I was determined to try his best to study hard. Now I am quite confident about my study.
