    We are now living in a information age, in which TV, cells and the Web are wide used. It seem that many people cannot enjoy themselves without it. However, if I were to give up one of them, I would rather turn off TV than to switch off my cell or cut off the Internet. I could do without TV because few shows took my fancy and there are too many commercials. Besides, most programs on TV are available elsewhere, either.     My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish. It is such great hotel that I would like to recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.

   I've just returned back from my spring break after visit my brother America. His school had just finished their break, so I get a chance to pay a visit to it. At the front door which there was a special machine,he had to call a security guard to take me to the main office to get a special pass. Then, dog smelt me by its nose.There were cameras anywhere, except in the bathrooms. I felt like I was a thief. Personally, I don't think a school need to be like a prison. It should be a comfortable place for student to study in happy.

    Learning is very important for each individual because we have to acquire new and advanced knowledge every day. So it will bring many advantage all through our life to be the successful learner.

    Successful learners are similar to many ways. They are independent thinkers but have a positive attitude towards their study. Besides, they have the competence of applying how they have learnt to practice. How can we be successful learners? In my opinion, first of all, we should develop for our interest in study, as an old saying went, “Interest is the best teacher.” Second, we should form the habit of make plans for our study and keep a good balance between study and entertainment.     A month ago, we have had our last sports meeting in the middle school, which meant a lot to us. It was not only a great chance to show our talents in sports, but valuable moment for us all to stand together and fight against our joint honor for the last time. We spend most of our spare time practice on the playground, repeating the simple movements again and again. The most impressed moment finally came. Every one of them stood straight and passed the platform full of energy and enthusiastic. It seemed as if we were on a great stage.

    It is said that you will receive that you give. In the end our class got the first place with hard training. The sports meeting has been over but our hearts have got close.
