Yesterday was my mother birthday. My father and I planned to give him a surprise. In the morning, like usual, my father and mother went to work but I went to school at eight o'clock. My mother seemed to have forgotten her birthday. At four o'clock in the afternoon my father bought  a bunch of flowers as well a lot of good food my mother likes to eat. I bought my mother large and beautiful birthday cake. When my mother got home, she was greatly surprised by what that she saw. All that we had done made her very happily. After supper, I asked my mother to sit down and watched TV. My father began to clean the floor and I set out to doing the washing-up.

    The family welcomed us warmly or we said “Happy new year” to them.We were treated a good dinner.Later in the afternoon,we said goodbye and started back home.

    Sadly,our car was sticking in the snow halfway and wouldn't move.Just then,the village walked by,offering to push his car.It was this stranger who helped us out!

    Last Sunday, sixty students from our school pay a visit to China Science and Technology Museum.

    The museum, which main task is to spread the knowledge of science and technology, covers area of 48,000 square meters. The moment when we entered the museum, the exhibition caught their attention.In the museum, we saw the latest progresses in science and technology. Moreover, we did an amazed scientific experiment by ourselves. What appealed for us most was the 3D film that made us feel we were in real events.

    Though the visiting time was slight short, we gained a lot. It is so an instructive activity that we hope more will be organized in the future.

    It was said that there is a poor countryman, who had nothing but an adult goose. One morning a man went to his goose's nest, and lucky he saw a yellow and glittering egg there.     I can still remember clearly the day after I had my first exam in Senior High. I didn't pass them. I was so scared that I even don't want to go to school any more. My parents looked my test paper calmly but said, “My child, we're very glad you has finished half of it and you can do better next time. We never expect you to do the best at a very beginning. We strong believe you can make progress gradually.” What they said made me to feel I could do things well. From then on, I have concentrated much on my studies. Now I'm always filling with confidence in my studies because I know my parents are always behind me.

    It was Sunday yesterday. I didn't need go to school. So together with my friend, I went on a picnic. Carrying a bag of food, we set it out. The sky was blue but the air was fresh to breathe. We were very excited. All of the sudden, I felt my bike became very heavy. I realize there must have been something wrong with it. Sure enough, one of the tires got flatter. I had no choice but to walk. However, with two friends around me, I didn't feel disappointed. Late, a truck driver volunteered to get my bike repair. I was really lucky to meet such kind a man.
