    Last Friday, Just before the 66^th National Day holiday, I conducted interview with James Watson, a famous American scientist, talk about how to become a successful scientist. Country music is one of the most popular kinds of music in the United states today because it is about simple but strong human feeling and events—love, sadness, good times, and bad times. It tells real—life stories and sound the way people really talk.

    Country music, sometimes is called country-western, comes by two kinds of music. One is traditional music from the eastern United States. The other is traditional cowboy music from the west. The singers usual play guitars. At first it is popular mostly in the South. And during World War II, thousands of Southerners went to the Northeast and Midwest to work in the factories. They took their music with them. Soldiers which were from the rest of the country went to army camps in the South learned country music. Thus they became popular all over country.

    How time flies! I'm very glad to hear you again. You want to know which is going on in schools in China. In the word, everything has changed. Every school take part in the campaign of reducing learning load. In the past, I used to studying until 11: 30 on weekends. But now I can arrange things of my own, such as reading books, visiting museums, or take computer lessons on weekends. In the evening I can watch news on the TV, or read newspapers. What's more, my parents support me. They think because I am a student, I don't have to study all day long. I think the idea of reducing learning load was well accepted by everyone.

    A video told a story about how a parent swallow taught its lazily child. It was time for the young to fly away and feed it. However, the young refused to leave the net. The mother bird tried to drive it away but it refuses to move. At the same time, another swallow kept fly back to feed the young, but every time stopped by the other.

    All the parents' efforts were in vain. Three day later, they gave up to their net with the young in it. Fortunately, the young were adopted by humans, and fed. At last, a bird flew into the sky but disappeared in the distance.

Not all cultures greet each others the same way, nor are they comfortable in same way with touching or distance between people. In the same way that people communicate to spoken language, they also express his feelings using unspoken "language" through physical distance, actions or posture. English people, for example, do not usually stands very close to others or touch stranger as soon as they meet. However, people from places like Spain, Italy or South American countries approach others closely and are more likely to touching them. Most people around the world now greet each other by shaking a hands, and some cultures use other greetings as well, such as the Japanese, which prefer to bow.
