There were no classes this afternoon. My classmates all went to People's Park. They had
good time, but I didn't go.
After lunch Aunt Huang came in and she looked(worry). "Grandma is ill," she said, "I must take to hospital. But my baby, … I can't leave her by(her)."
Mum and Dad were not at home. So I said, "Don't worry. I can lookher."
"Thank you, Ling Feng." Then she left.
The baby was about ten(month) old. At first she was asleep. Half an hour later she woke and began to cry. "Don't cry," I said. I talked to her. But she looked at me and cried harder and harder. I turned on the radio. She stopped(cry) and listened to the music. After a few minutes she started to cry again. "Listen to me," I said. I started to sing. The baby watched and listened, and she(not) cry any more. Then I made faces and jumped like a monkey. The baby laughed and laughed.
All that afternoon I jumped and sang and did all kinds of things. Aunt Huang came back, I was so tired.
In the evening, my friend Liu Ming came to see me. I told him the whole story. He laughed.
"You are great! I'm going to tell everyone: „Bring your babies to Ling Feng. can take good care of your babies.'"

In the meantime, all lessons which were in Classroom 6 are now in Classroom 15. You cannot borrow any books during the holiday, but you can read them in the library. School play This year, the school play is Snowy Days. Students can buy tickets from the entrance of the school. Friends and family are welcome. Pets aren't allowed. If you like, you can hand in your play and we {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(take)a look. If it is good enough, you can act it out. School trip Mr. Williams {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(plan)an exciting school trip. Forty students from Year 7 and 8 will go to South America {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(visit)a school. The school is on top of a mountain. They will make new friends, and learn about new cultures. If you are interested, talk to your teacher before the end of next week.
