    Time flies! This is a third year that I have been in this school. In the past two and a half years, our school had organized many activities. What impressed me best was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we were sent to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes. Having been in the city for so a long time, we were so happy to go to the countryside. After divided into three groups, we started to work. Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes, and the others put the pieces of potatoes into the hole, put the earth back and push them down hard. We continued doing that until all the work was done. Although we were exhausted, but we felt fulfilled on our way back home.

    I'd like tell you something about your life in this boarding school. I stay in a dormitory with three other girls，all of them are kind and nice. We get on well to others and have become good friends．Living in a boarding school make me independent. I am confidence to take care of myself，wash the clothes，and clean the rooms，which I never did when at home. The classes here are very interesting and challenged. I am still feeling a little dissatisfied with some other thing. The living conditions are not as well as those at home and the chance to get in touch with the outside world is limited. Anyway，I will get used to it and hope the everything will be better soon.

    Spring is my favorite season of the year. The days are not so hot even though the sun shone brightly. The trees and grasses look greener. Whatever I look, I can see so many pretty flowers. It rains sometimes but not so much. We needn't wear so many clothes to keeping ourselves warm. I like to play in my garden earlier in the morning.     Last term, I went to America for a student exchange programme. Before go, I was quite proud in my English. But everyone in America spoke so fast that I couldn't make out that what they were saying. Being in completely different culture was frightened and I even wanted to go straight back home.

    However, thing soon got better and better. The host family was very king. Fortunately, the boy that I stay with was crazy about football, that made my stay enjoyable. Beside, being an exchange student offered me a chance improve my English.
