    It has been a long time since I did anything good for the environment. Feeling responsible to protect the environment, I decided to take the action again. I told my idea to my friends and we planned to plant tree on the hill in the countryside. We came to the foot of the hill and selected a place where looked suitably and settled down. We spend a few hours digging holes and placing the young seedlings. Then we wrote our wishes on cards one to one and buried it deep down the roots of the trees. We also took a lot of pictures.     As student, I can tell you that there is nothing better than be praised by my teacher before my classmates.

    Yesterday afternoon, Li Ming and I went home together after school. Suddenly we saw an old lady knock down by a car. The driver ran away in his car. Li Ming and I ran over to find whether the old lady's head was bleeding. She had already lost consciousness. Li Ming went to stop a taxi quickly. Immediate, I took out my handkerchief and covered the wound with them. Soon, Li Ming came back with the taxi. Together we put the old lady into the taxi and drive her to the nearest hospital.

The old lady was saved up and we also felt pleased. We also reminded her to exercise extreme cautious when crossing the road. What's more, I remembered the car's number but the traffic police caught the driver quickly.

    I would tell you some good news. To provide more chances for us to practise the English, I have recently set up an English group blog naming We Love English.

    Variously things can be done on the blog. Firstly, we can post our journals here, sharing our thoughts and daily life. Secondly, the blog is a good place for us to exchange our good learning experiences, which will certainly lead to learn English well. Thirdly, if we should have any problems with our English study, just putting them on the blog, where we will soon find effective solutions the problems offered by other students.

    To be a volunteer is a great pleasure. Last Sunday, I get up early because I was so excited to sleep any longer. In morning, we arrived at the Happing Nursing Home. How happily the old people were when they saw us! Then we cleaned the windows or swept the floor for them, some of us gave some performances to them, such as sing songs and dancing. When it was time for us volunteers to leave, we were grateful for our kindness. From this meaningful activity, I have realized that we are supposing to care for the old. In our daily life, we should offer our seat to them on buses and treat our own grandparents more kindly. I sincerely hope more people will join in us.

    Last week, all of us were told prepare for an exhibition of our understanding of traditional Chinese culture. After knowing that, we had a heat discussion at the class meeting. Very soon, ideas like Peking Opera, Han Clothing, and Chinese Kung fu come to our minds. With the ideas gathering, we started to take the action. Some searched on the Internet for more details, when others set about draw pictures on the blackboard. Thanks to my hard work, our design finally won the head teacher's approval. We were not only proud about our teamwork but also deep impressed by the great traditional Chinese culture.

    Last year, my father promised when I did well in my exams, he would give me the special prize. After that I worked hardly and finally got very good marks. Knowing my dream was to see some real snow, my parents took me a local ski resort (滑雪胜地) for my winter holiday. As we climb through the mountains, we saw the snow on the tree. No one in my family had ever been touched snow before. We were all exciting like little children but delighted to play with the snow! We picked the snow up, made snowballs and threw it at each other!
