    Last week my parents and I took a two-days trip to Emei Mountain in Sichuan. As everyone knows, it's famous mountain with all kinds of plants and animals. The weather was fine. It was almost noon we arrived at the foot of the mountain. The three of them were very excited. As we climbed the mountain, we fed monkeys, visiting temples and told stories. On the way up I was busy taking picture since the scenery was so beautiful. The time passes quickly. Evening came. We spent the night in a hotel at the top of the mountain.     Measuring at 8.0Ms, a terrible earthquake strikes Wenchuan on May 12, 2008. A great number of houses and buildings was destroyed, left as many as 10,000,000 people homeless. That shocked us was that almost everything was in ruins. Fortunate, the government took steps immediately. Now after a decade, with people who come from all fields giving a helpful hand, a new city appears in the front of us but it looks like a beautiful garden. In my opinion, without the support of our motherland, the survivor could not lead such a comfort life as it is now. I am proud that I live so great a country.

    Life is not easy for any of us. We will unavoidably suffered bitterness and sadness from failure. Thus, there is very important for us to have a good mood in our daily life.     Recently, citizens in our city have had a heated debate on if we should explore the cultural relic, which was discovered in our city.

    Different people have different opinions. Some people are in favour the idea. They think the cultural relic is worth explore, which will make people to learn more great history. What's more, cultural relic site can attract more visitors to their beautiful city, that will improve our tourism. However, others hold a opposite opinion, thinking that we should keep it as it is and protect it proper. Only in this way can it not be destroyed by people.

    A survey basing on 1,000 students found that 80% of senior students sleep less than nine hours every night. One main reason lies at students' bad habits. Too much homework is given by school teachers is another main cause. Some students are absent-minded while doing their homework, and some wasting their after-class time. The third cause is that some students have to get up earlier on weekday to get to school that was far away from home. Experts think an amount of homework for the students should be cut down. Beside, teachers should encourage their students make good use of their spare time. Only in this way can the students improve our study efficiency.
