     Long ago, an Ojibway Indian naming Wenibojo went on a long trip to the forest. When he got hunger, he dug up the roots of a bush and ate them. The roots were tasted good, but they made him sick. Wenibojo looked for everything better to eat. Suddenly he heard the sounds of ducks nearby. He followed the sounds from a beautiful lake, which the ducks were eating plants. Wenibojo tasted one. To his surprise, it was wild rice! He returned his village to tell the people there about the special food. Nowadays, the Ojibways still harvests rice, but only as many as they need. They always left some rice on the farm so that the ducks can eat.

Dear Peter,

    I'm writing to tell you something about e-hongbao, that is very popular in China.

    E-hongbao is actual a kind of lucky money from and to relatives and friends during festivals or in special occasions. For many young people, grabbing e-hongbao on our mobile phones is a fairly exciting activity. Unlike the tradition of elders give lucky money to children, over half of the people sending e-hongbao is in their 20s. It's just for fun but giving best wishes, while the sum of money matters a little. In a word, e-hongbao is bringing new color to the old tradition.

    Now I'm concerned about the safe of online payment, and rules and regulations needed to be improved to guarantee its operation.

    As a senior three student, it won't take long after I graduate. Now, I have many to share with my fellow students.

    Firstly, I'd like to show my appreciation to those who stand by me all the way, teachers, parents and friends including. Without their help or advice, my life will be different. Secondly, it's high time for I to say sorry to the classmates whom I hurt or misunderstood. I firm believe that communication and smiles act as bridges to friendship. Thirdly, I've made my mind to make every effort to study, for hard work is the key to a success.     In my childhood, my parents sent me to learn Chinese calligraphy. However, things are quite opposite to their expectations. Not only I get bored with hours of practice but also I doubted about the valuable of it. Nevertheless, when I entered high school, write calligraphy proved both essential or beneficial. It was at that time when I realized how important it is to master a certain skill.

    Judging from my own experience, I want to say a few word to those children who have a same trouble as I did. Do not refuse to learn a skill when young, as at the long run you will find them helpful.

    Jane Eyre is a world-famous storybook, which is very popular to middle school students. The main character Jane is one of my favorite heroine. The book tells us not only about her hard life and about her efforts to gain her happiness. It were her perseverance and determination which helped her to get what she deserved at last. I liked Jane very much, and her story leaves a great effect on her life and study. I make up my mind work hard at my lessons. Meanwhile, I will try to make the full use of any opportunity to train my characters, especial my tolerance and perseverance to solve all of the difficulties in my life.
