Linda and Betty were both nineteen years old. In June, after a school year was over, they {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  to take a vacation in the countryside. They went to several towns and villages, visited some places of interest, saw and heard a lot of interesting things. They enjoyed  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}very much.
    One afternoon, they  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  going to stay overnight in a small town. It was too hot to go  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}and they wished they could find a river and swim in the cool water. They were driving the car  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}while they were looking around. Suddenly Linda saw a lake not far away. They drove there   {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and stopped the car by the lake. They looked around and found a woman sitting on a stone and   {#blank#}7{#/blank#}   there. After they took off their clothes and were going to jump into the water, the woman came up to them and shouted,
  “Sorry, madams.  Swimming is not   {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  in the lake!”
  “Why didn't you tell us about it before we took off our clothes?" Betty said  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}   .
  “But it isn't forbidden to take off clothes by the lake,”  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} the woman.

    My teachers thought I was the worst student. I always {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in the test. When I was going to give up my studying, a new teacher, Miss White came to our school. She was young and helpful. One day, we had a picnic on a farm. I was silent in a{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Miss White came up to me and talked to me {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Her smile swept away my unhappiness. I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} by her words. I began to study hard. She often helped me with my study in her {#blank#}5{#/blank#}time. In the end, I went to a good college. She made me to see that I can be successful in life.

A: Hi, Julia! Where did you go yesterday?

B: I went to the hospital yesterday. I didn't feel {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

A: How are you feeling now?

B: Much better. Thanks. You are always in good {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

A: Yes. I often run and play soccer.

B: No, I don't like running, but I like playing soccer.

A: Great! Then we can play soccer together. Do you like eating vegetables?
