    I went to the beach in Haikou last Sunday. It was sunny. The air was fresh and the water was clean. There were a lot of people on the beach.

    Some girls sang songs near the sea. Some boys played volleyball on the beach. I saw a cat in a big tree. An old man listened to the radio on a long chair. Some young men swam in the sea. There weren't any ships on the sea.

    Jill is going to a new school. He is very excited.（兴奋的）And his friend, Tony, is going to middle school,（中学）too. They are going to write email to each other. Tony is going to study Chinese, math and physics. But Jill is going to study English, art and science. Jill's house is far from the school. So he is going to school by bus. Tony is going to walk to school.

    Tom, Sue and John are good friends. They study in the same school. But they are not in the same class. Tom's birthday is on 21st February, next Sunday. Sue and John want to give him a big surprise (惊喜) on his birthday. They talk about it after school.

    Tom likes playing sport very much. He usually goes to the sports club on Sunday. So Sue and John can go to Tom's house and get ready for the party with Tom's parents on that day.

    On Sunday morning, they go to the supermarket to buy (买) some food, fruit and drinks. It is study afternoon now, Sue is making the cake. And John is making a model plane for Tom. Tom is very happy when he comes home.

    Mr. Black and Mr. White worked in the same bookstore. One day Mr. Black said to Mr. White, "We are going to have a small party at our house next Saturday evening. Will you and your wife come?"

    Mr. White said, "Thank you very much. That is very kind of you. We are free that evening."
