This is my good friend. Her name is Lily. She is tall and thin. She is quiet. She has big eyes and long hair. She is ten years old. She likes white and blue. She likes Chinese very much. She is very friendly too.

    I'm Tony. I'm a boy. I live in a big house with my family. I have a sister and a brother. My sister likes to draw pictures and sing. My brother likes to play football. We all go to school by bus. My mother works in a hospital. She is a doctor. My father has a farm. The farm is very big. We like to go for a walk together. I love my family.

    In the morning, I get up (起床) at 7：00. I have milk and bread for breakfast. Then I go to school. My favourite food is fish. In the afternoon, I have rice and chicken for lunch at school. I don't like vegetables but I like fruit. In the evening, I have noodles and meat for dinner. Then I read a book. At last (最后) , I say "Good night!" to my mum and dad.

Waiter：Excuse me. Can I help you? Here's the menu.

Zip：What would you like, Zoom?

Zoom：Let me see. I'd like a sandwich, some salad and beef. What about you, Zip?

Zip：Me? Mmm… I'd like some vegetables, soup and fish. Would you like something to drink?

Zoom：Yes. A bottle of juice, please.

Zip：I don't like juice. Milk, please.

Waiter：OK! Wait a minute.

Zoom and Zip：Thanks.

    This is our school. There are many trees and flowers in it. It's very nice. There is a big playground in our school. Many students come to the playground to play football after school. Near the playground, there's a teaching building, and it's big and nice. In front of the teaching building, there's a sports hall, and some students like to play table tennis there.

    There are 30 classes and about 1500 students in our school. All the teachers are kind. They often help us. The students all like to help each other. We love our school and teachers.

    Billy is a student in Grade Two. He doesn't work hard at his lessons. He likes to play. But he thinks he is very clever.

    One afternoon Billy goes home after school. He is very hungry. So he says to his mother, “Mum, I'm hungry. Can I have something to eat?”

    “Supper is not ready. But here are two apples. You can eat them first.” Says his mother.

    Billy takes the two apples in his hands. He looks at the apples and says, “Mum, I have three apples now. Look, this is the first one. This is the second one. One and two is three. Right?”

    “Oh, yes, you are very clever, Billy.” Says his mother, “Now please give me the first one. Give your father the second one. And you eat the third one.”
