This is a meaningful and impressive story. A man came to the USA. After settling down at island, he went into a cafeteria to get something  (eat). He sat down at an empty table  (silent) and waited for someone to take his order,  nobody did. Finally, a woman with a plate full of food  (sit) opposite him and informed him  the cafeteria worked. “Start out at that end,” she said. “Just go along the line and pick out what you want. At the other end, they'll tell you how much you have to pay.”

“I soon learned how everything worked in the USA,” the man told a  (rely) friend. He said, “Life's a cafeteria here. You can get anything as long as you are  (will) to pay the price.”

You can even get success, but you'll never get it if you wait for someone to bring it to you. You have to get up and get it  (you). You can't change the things that you can't avoid or prevent. The only thing you can do is control your attitude. Once you reach that point in life,  (achieve) won't be too far away.

阅读下面材料,在空白处填入适当的内容(1个单词)或括号内单词的正确形式。

Recently, with the increasing popularity of social websites and personal online blogs, the potentially harmful practice of oversharing {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (become) much more common. Oversharing is the act of sharing too much information, or TMI,{#blank#}2{#/blank#} people who are not necessarily prepared or qualified to receive it. Telling a co-worker you don't want a piece of birthday cake may be acceptable, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} adding the fact that you're on a diet to lose 50 pounds would be oversharing. There are some {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (person) facts others may not need or want to know.

Some oversharing is the result of a poorly {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (develop) social filter (过滤器) or “shut up button”. Different people may have different ideas over {#blank#}6{#/blank#}constitutes (构成) oversharing or TMI, so they may not realize they are making others feel {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (comfortable).

Other times the oversharing may be an attempt {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (break) the ice socially. By sharing a few embarrassing {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (moment) with strangers, the oversharer lets others know it's okay to let down their guards and be more open themselves.

While some oversharing may be OK,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} is generally a good idea to develop a sense of propriety (得体) in order to avoid sharing far too much information.
