    Is there an important exam right around the comer? You might be starting to fear, thinking that there's no way for you to get a good grade because of the little time left to study. This is something all students may worry about. But you should accept the fact that you have to take the exam no matter how much you want to avoid it.

    Thankfully, there are several ways to help you get at least a passing grade. You may have a try.

Get yourself together.

    This might sound like silly advice, but it's actually the most important. When you fear, you may lose control over your thoughts and actions Even if you try to study, perhaps you won't get anything in your head.

Enjoy enough sleep.

    It's unbelievable many students have little sleep each night. That's not something to be proud of, especially if you're sleeping so little and still failing to do all the things Sleep isn't for the weak, but for the wise. Your brain needs enough rest. After a good night's sleep, you'll perform much better in the morning.

Don't fear.

    Once the test paper is in front of you don't be afraid. Take a deep breath and start the exam with confidence(信心). As the weather gets warmer,there are few things that are better to do than travel.But traveling might not be that fun for everyone,especially for those who have motion sickness(晕动症).

Motion sickness is also called travel sickness.It is a common experience for many people.Depending on how you travel,it can be called carsickness or seasickness.People with motion sickness feel very uncomfortable while they are in motion.They feel sick and dizzy,like the room around them won't stop spinning.

It is generally believed that motion sickness happens when your senses become confused (困惑的)with each other,Scientific American reported.

We use different parts of our body to sense movement.Our eyes tell us if we are moving.The inner ears (内耳) contain a special liquid that helps us sense our direction and balance.Our muscles react to movement.

When you move around,these body parts work well together.But when you are in a car or an airplane,they get confused.Your inner ear signals that you're moving.This mismatch gives us motion sickness.

But some people are less sensitive to motion sickness.This may be because they have certain genes (基因) that prevent mismatching senses,Bethann Hromatka,told the Atlantic.

Although there are many ways to deal with motion sickness,scientists believe that the key is to simply try to adapt to it.For example,some astronauts do special exercises that give them mild motion sickness.After a week or two,the astronauts become used to it and don't feel uncomfortable anymore,a NASA flight doctor,told the BBC.

① A survey(调查) has shown that lots of people can't sleep well. Sometimes you feel tired when you wake up. You may have a headache and you feel like you could sleep for another three hours. Many things around us cause sleeplessness. Here are a few changes you can make to improve your sleep.

②Go to bed and get up at the same time. You may share the same bedroom with your sister or brother. You both must go to bed regularly(规律地) so that you don't trouble each other.

③Clean up your bedroom. A study from a university in Zhengzhou found that people with clean bedrooms usually sleep better than those with dirty and untidy rooms.

④ Get more house plants. Studies show that house plants help with reducing (减轻)stress. Also, plants such as lavender(薰衣草) and gardenias(栀子花) have smells that may help some people relax and sleep better.

⑤ Make your room dark. When light hits your eyes, it tell you not to fall asleep. In fact, we need darkness especially in the evening. So if you want your body to know that it's time to rest, turn off the lights about an hour before bedtime or wear eye masks. Your phone and your TV should also be thought of. You may also use the dark curtaıns(窗帘) to keep any outside light from going into your bedroom.

⑥Lower your bedroom temperature. The body becomes cooler at night, so lowering the temperature before bedtime can help you relax and fall asleep more quickly. The NationalSleep Foundation in a country says your bedroom should be about 16 ℃ to 19℃ for a good night's sleep.
