Everyone needs friends. They are very important because friends bring us happiness and hope in our lives. But the ability to make friends changes from person to person. To some people, making friends is not hard, and to others it's very difficult. Making friends is a skill, and the first thing is to know how to get on with others. If you have trouble in making friends, maybe I can tell you how to do it.

    a)Realize your own good points. You have skills and talents(才能) that others will like.

    b)Believe that you are a good person and have something nice to share with others.

    c)Be humorous. Learn to laugh at yourself and your weakness. Remember to smile at others.

    d)Respect(尊敬) the others. Everyone has his own idea. Learn how to listen to others' ideas without trying to make them accept yours.

    e)Be kind. If you are kind to others, they will usually be kind to you. There are hundreds of little things you can do to show your kindness. Open the door for someone. Wave to a friend and so on.

    f)Don't complain. Learn to accept what you can't change, and work hard to change what you can. No one is willing to hear your complaints all the time.

    g)Never give up. Even if you are faced with some closed-minded people, never give up. And try to find someone who will understand you.

    Please send your photos as an attachment, not embedded in (把……嵌入) the body of your e-mail.

    We don't mind if you or your friends are in the pictures, as long as you tell us who or what is in the photos.

    We need to be able to get in touch with you, so tell us your phone number and home address.

    It's June 6. It's Jenny's birthday. She comes home and sees a card on the table. It says, "There is a present for you, Jenny. Go and look for it in your bedroom (卧室)." Jenny runs to her bedroom. She sees a red box on her bed. She opens it. There is another (又一) card in it. Jenny takes it out and reads, "Dear Jenny, I'm your present. My first letter is in 'some', but not in 'come'. My second letter is in 'have', but not in 'save'. My third letter is in 'live', but not in 'love'. My fourth letter is in 'for', but not in 'of '. My fifth letter is in 'take', but not in 'cake'. What am I?"

    Jenny thinks and then she says, "Aha, I know! But where is it?" Jenny finds (找到) it behind the door.

    Once upon a time, there was a strange bird. He lived in a tree near the bank of a river. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    One day, one of the two heads saw a delicious fruit on a tree. He picked it and started eating the fruit. "It is one of the most delicious fruits I have ever eaten," he said.

    The other head said, "{#blank#}2{#/blank#}" The first head laughed and said, "You know that we have only one stomach. It makes no difference whether I eat it or you eat it. Moreover, I'm the one who found the fruit. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}"

    Later that day, the other head found a tree having poisonous (有毒的) fruits. He took a poisonous fruit and told the first head, "I will eat this fruit."

    The first head shouted, "{#blank#}4{#/blank#} If you eat it, both of us will die."

The other head replied, "Shut up! I'm the one who found the fruit. I have the right to eat it."

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} In the end, both of them lost their lives.

    The purpose of students who come to school is to study.  But studying needs right ways. The following opinions are ways of studying.

    The best time to read is morning. Because in the morning, the air is fresh and our minds are clear.

    When we study, we must be patient(有耐心的). If we don't understand a text well, we must read it again. We should not read the next until we have learned the first one well.

    When we are studying, we must put our hearts into the book. We cannot read absentmindedly(心不在焉),or we couldn't get anything form the book while we are reading.

    We must always ask "why". If we can't understand well, write it down and ask our teachers or parents, brothers or friends, in any possible ways.

    Though there are many ways for studying, however, the above mentioned will be helpful if we can keep them in heart.
