A field trip is a journey by a group of people to a place away from {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（they）normal environment.

    The purpose of the trip is usually observation for {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(educate), non-experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their everyday {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(activity), such as going {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(camp) with their teachers and classmates. The aim of this research is to observe the subject in its natural state and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(possible) collect samples(标本). In western culture people first come across this method during school years {#blank#}6{#/blank#}classes are taken on school trips to visit a geographical feature of the landscape. Much of the early research into the natural sciences {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(be) of this form. Charles Darwin is considered to be {#blank#}8{#/blank#}important example of someone who has contributed {#blank#}9{#/blank#}science through the use of field trips.

    {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(reduce) risks and expenses, most school systems now have set up field trip procedures that consider the entire trip from estimation, approval to scheduling.

    In our daily life, we often meet with difficulties. Some people do nothing but wait, while others try hard to conquer{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Personally, we should face with difficulties positively and make every effort to overcome them.

    My memory drew me back to five years ago when I was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} middle school student. At that time, I had great trouble studying English. First of all, I felt it hard to memorize English {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (word). Besides I didn't dare to say anything in class when I{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (ask) questions. What annoyed me most was that I failed exams{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (constant). I was about to give up{#blank#}6{#/blank#} my English teacher found my problems. He encouraged me and gave me some good advice.So {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (inspire) by him, I decided to settle my problems. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (follow) his advice, I made progress gradually.     This is a true story which happened in the States. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (happy) hammering dents(凹痕) into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp(果浆汁) as {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (punish). When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.

  Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to cut the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (wake) up from the operation and saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, “Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} when are my fingers going to grow back?”

The father went home and committed suicide.

Think about this story the next time someone steps on your {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(foot) or you wish to take revenge(报复). Think first {#blank#}7{#/blank#} you lose your patience with someone you love. Trucks can be repaired, but {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(break) bones and hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(great) than revenge.

People make mistakes. We {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (allow) to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will impress us forever.

    Charlie Chaplin was considered to be one of the most popular {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (star) in the early days of films. He brightened the lives of people throughout the world {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(use) his perfect acting. Charlie was born in a poor family and lived {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hard life in his childhood. His parents were both poor hall performers,{#blank#}4{#/blank#} didn't make much money. Therefore, at a very young age, Charlie had to learn {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (sing) and dance. By his teens, his subtle acting had become so entertaining {#blank#}6{#/blank#} no one in England was ever bored watching him mime and act the fool doing ordinary everyday tasks. In 1972, he won a special Oscar {#blank#}7{#/blank#}his outstanding work in the films that he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. He made people laugh even when they felt depressed. And no one has done {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (well) than him up to now.

    Charlie lived in England and the USA but {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(spend) his last years in Switzerland, where he died of {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (nature) causes on December 25, 1977.

    The other day my father drove me to school as usual. When we arrived it began to rain {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(heavy) but we only had one raincoat. My father insisted I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(wear) it. Even though I would rather my father {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(put) it on, I didn't insist because I knew it would put him in a bad temper. Anyway, I did my best to use my raincoat to prevent him {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(get) wet. I was so moved by his sacrifice that I cried.

    The rain reminded me {#blank#}5{#/blank#} how much my father loved me. When I was in primary school, I {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(perform) poorly in tests but my father always encouraged me. Sometimes I want to join clubs or go on school trips. He always supports me since he thinks such activities are beneficial to me, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} I can {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(broad) my horizons.

    Though I love my father, I am at {#blank#}9{#/blank#} loss how to show it. Many students have the same problem. We love and care for our parents, but we don't know {#blank#}10{#/blank#}we can do to help them.
