There are many festivals in China. New Year's Day is in January. Spring Festival is usually in February, sometimes in January. Tree Planting Day is in March. Dragon Boat Festival is usually in June. Teachers' Day is in September. Mid-autumn Day is usually in September or October.

    There are also some festivals in western countries. Easter is in April. April Fool's Day is also in this month. Halloween is in October. American Thanksgiving Day is in November. Christmas Day is in December.

Near the North Pole there are only two seasons: winter and summer. The winter Nights are long. For more than two months you can't see sun, ever at noon. The summer days are long.For more than two months the never sets and there is no night at all. The weather is cold all the year round. Even summer the temperatures below 0℃. So people there make their clothing with the fur of animals.

    In the cold climate, plants cannot grow. So people have to build their houses with fur, earth, shone or snow. When they go out hunting, they live in the tents of the fur. When they move, they take their tents with them. Sometimes, they build houses of snow. Now don't think that these houses must be cold, it is very warm and safe.

    The life near the North Polo is very interesting.

Jane: This is a famous cafe. People always stay here with their friends.

Then he pretends (假装)to sleep. George is curious and looks at the hats. “I will be nice if I put a hat on my head,” George thinks. Then he climbs down from the tree, picks up a hat and puts it on. The hat is too big, and covers George's eyes.

    George can't see. And the man gets up at once, runs out and catches him quickly. Poor George!
