We are familiar with an old saying that “Clothes make the man”，which means good­looking outfits may possibly make a person better respected and look more like a true gentleman. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Naturally，he may be well respected and gracefully treated even though he doesn't seem so respectable as others imagined. Instead，if a man is poorly or commonly dressed，he can't avoid being looked down upon and unfairly treated，{#blank#}2{#/blank#}  As far as these people are concerned，what one wears is taken as an essential signal of status and an expression of characteristics. Consequently，clothes do seem to help make a good impression on others，and gain more respect.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} I think the good impression one leaves on others based on clothes doesn't last long. Only good internal quality and beauty will impress people forever and never fade. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} On the contrary，when people who are fascinated by a person's clothes eventually find out that he is an undesirable person，they would think he is pretentious and may even treat him with contempt(蔑视)．On top of this，people who attach too much importance to clothes would waste their time and money on it. Besides，it adversely affects their effort on the things that really matter.

    In summary，{#blank#}5{#/blank#} Nothing can count more than good internal quality in building up the man. Therefore only one's internal beauty and knowledge are more decisive of a person's value.

A．clothes do help in making an initial image，but do not make the man.

B．As a result，all the people spare no money to buy expensive fine clothes.

C．Clothes just make a man look better but will in no sense make a better person.

D．But I have a different view on this issue.

    As we know, everyone can make mistakes, but don't worry about it. The following is what we should do when we make mistakes.

    ● Just admit (承认）it. Don't think that our mistakes are caused by others. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Don't blame other people, and don't cheat ourselves, either.

    ●{#blank#}2{#/blank#} In order to stop the problem from getting worse, we should act quickly to solve it. If we don't act and deal with the problem quickly, it'll only make us feel more stressed.     ●{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Those who have made the most mistakes can get an A, for they are the ones who have learned the most. The more we learn from our mistakes, the cleverer we are.

    ●{#blank#}5{#/blank#}What caused us to make the mistake? How can we avoid making the same mistake in the future? When we act with a method to get a good result, do it that way next time. If we don't, we should stop, think about it, change it and try again.

The girl looked happily at the bird's enjoyment. Her heart did no longer care about her loss. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on her hand. It sang the sweetest song she had ever heard.

    The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tight; the best way to keep love is to give it wings!

    The importance of communication cannot be denied. Using effective communication skills is important to relationships and to success at work.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}Here are a few:

    Prevent misunderstandings. When you clearly communicate your wants, your needs, and your intentions, there will be no misunderstanding. Many of our arguments and disagreements occur simply because one of us did not communicate clearly. Another example of the importance of communication can be seen in the medical field. When a doctor tells a patient his diagnosis(诊断)and gives instructions for care and medicine, it is critical that the patient understands exactly what the doctor intends to communicate.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Strengthen relationships. We get to know each other (either in business or personally) by talking and listening{#blank#}3{#/blank#}People like people they know. In business, the more personable business person, who showed an interest in his customer, wins the sale every time over the business person who is aloof and shows no interests in the customer, whatsoever!

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#}Talking about your problem and stresses actually helps to relieve the stress and anxiety. You feel as if some of the burden has been lifted from you when a friend listens and shows that she cares.

    The importance of communication skills becomes obvious when you think of the many times that you communicate with someone during a single day{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    Recently, I have read a great number of books. I have found that no reading every day has helped me in my study Reduce Stress  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} And I am sure no matter what I read, the act of it will also improve yours.

    Reduce Stress {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Fiction is great for this. Reading an interesting fiction book is perfect right before bed time, though sometimes it's hard to put the book down if it's really good. Still, you'll be relaxed.

    Improve Analytical Thinking A scientific study shows that analytical thinking is encouraged and improved by reading. Readers improve their general knowledge, and more importantly are able to recognize patterns quicker.  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Increase Vocabulary It's no secret that reading increases your vocabulary and improves your spelling.  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} In fact, even the language in children's books is likely to be more sophisticated(老练，复杂) than your daily conversation.

    I feel like a better writer, as I am burying myself in works from people who are better than me. That's why English classes in High School make you read “the classics". That's why art students learn to copy those masterpiece(态作), so they know the feeling of creating something amazing. The more you read the better of a writer you'II become.
