Tom woke up on Monday morning, he felt 1. He always felt sick on Monday morning. He had to go to school for five 2 every week! He almost wished there were no weekends. 3 was even more difficult for him to go back to school!

    "No problem," answered Aunt Polly. "I can pull it out."

    "No way! Well, you will have your tooth out or you will go to school."

    No visitor was left in the museum now, and John was walking around to check if everything was all right.1 he saw a beautiful painting lying on the floor. John2 and gave it to the curator (馆长). The curator called several museums to check if it was a stolen painting3no one claimed(认领) it. So the curator decided to hang it.4said it was beautiful and had a very deep meaning.     Kenya is famous for its safari holidays. On a safari holiday, you can1in a national park and watch the wild animals. Last year, Sarah's parents took Sarah and Peter there2their summer holiday. They had a wonderful time. They set up their tent and3in the middle of the national park, far from any towns.

    There was a guide with them, and the guide knew4about wild animals. During the day, their guide took5in a big car and they saw all kinds of animals. They saw lions, elephants, monkeys and many6animals. Sometimes the animals came very near to them. Once an elephant started walking towards them. Sarah and Peter felt very7.     At night the family slept in the 9. They could hear the noises of the animals. They said it was noisy, and10 they couldn't sleep！Also, they said it was very hot. But they love their holiday very much, and are going again next year.

    Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took her boy to a pianist's concert on a summer holiday evening. After they found their 1, the mother saw two friends in the hall and walked to 2 them.

    Everyone has a place which he remembers most from his childhood (童年), and so do I. One of the places I remember from my childhood is a 1 in the country. It belonged to my parents. I spent my summers in that place 2 I was a teenager(青少年), and now I begin to miss the farm again.

    It was lovely to 3 there. There were a lot of lot of 4— cows, sheep, hens, dogs and cats. My sister and I 5 helped to work on the farm. We helped people graze(放牧) sheep or make bread or cheese. I can still remember that on Tuesdays we 6 the bread and on Thursdays, the cheese.

    I love that farm because I 7 to love animals and not to be afraid of them there. We saw a sheep give birth to its baby there, and we enjoyed staying there to see how lovely the 8 sheep was.

    Now my sister and her son are 9 this place. My nephew is 10 with the place. I hope that he has a good time there and when he is older, he will remember the place as I do.
