    Last Saturday, our class had an excited basketball match with our neighbor Class 4. I had thought that our team was consisted of strong and able players, me including, while the opposite team was no match for us. However, when the match started, I was surprised to find that every member of the other team was fighting hardly, despite the fact they were far less capable than us. It came as no surprise that we become the winner in the match. And they won our respect for our performance in the game.     Do you know anything about drinks? Tea, coffee but cocoa are the three most famous drinks in the world? China is the homeland of tea which have become the national drink. In other words, tea is basical spread out from China. Referring to Chinese tea culture, it has several thousand years of history and can date back the ancient times. At first, our ancients find tea make them excited, but they thought that drink more would be causing damage to the morals. Until Tang Dynasty, tea culture began taking shape. When they came to Song Dynasty, people began to use tea in difference situations and tea culture became the more and more popular. Nowadays, tea still plays an important parts in our daily life.

    Measuring at 8.0Ms, a terrible earthquake strikes Wenchuan on May 12, 2008. A great number of houses and buildings was destroyed, left as many as 10,000,000 people homeless. That shocked us was that almost everything was in ruins. Fortunate, the government took steps immediately. Now after a decade, with people who come from all fields giving a helpful hand, a new city appears in the front of us but it looks like a beautiful garden. In my opinion, without the support of our motherland, the survivor could not lead such a comfort life as it is now. I am proud that I live so great a country.

    When I was young, I was terribly poor in the Chinese. Be afraid of expressing myself was one of the reasons that I rarely did well in school. Once I failed in a mid-term exam. When I got the papers, I realized things could have been better if I listened to the teacher much more attentive. So I turned to my teacher for helps and he told me, "Where there is a will, there is a way. If we are devoted to learning Chinese, you'll make it." I couldn't agree much. From then on, I began to work harder. Out of my expect, I made great progress soon. Today, Chinese is where my strength lies. And I'm grateful for my Chinese teacher.

    Before Christmas our school hold a winter sports meeting. As it was the last one at school; we did what we could perform well in an opening ceremony. Greatly to our happiness, our show was very much successful. My classmates took part in various events, or our head teacher even joined us in the relay race. Except Wang Lin; several other athletes also ranked Top 5. Some brought cameras to record the excited moments. It was quite a wonderful experience and that we obtained was great fun. Those out-of-class activity in deed helped us relieve the pressure from learning, and promoted us enthusiasm for future study.

    Among different kind of sports, swimming is my favorite. It was a very excited experience to learn swimming with my parents when I am five years old.

Swimming is a real good sport. It makes me feeling relaxed. This sport can make me stay health and strong, so I exercise almost every part of my body every time I go swimming.

    Before going to swim, we should pay attention three points. The first is to make your body in a better state. The second is that you shouldn't eat too many. The last is that you'd better swim with some friends. These can help you stay safe and enjoy ourselves.
