Some people find that when the temperature goes down,do their spirits.Those people sometimes feel sadno reason.They will eat more and gain weight.They can't think clearly.They may have trouble falling asleep in the evening.
So people are suggested to do what they can(beat)these winter blues.Here are some ways for you:
·Get out in the sun.
Some researchers say that winter blues happen because we get less sunlight in winter than we do in theseasons.Getting extra sunlight each day can help brighten your mood.
·Get some exercise.
A brisk walk,for example, will make chemicals which(call)endorphins(脑内啡)move through your body.Endorphins are natural"feel good"chemicals.
·Eat more healthy foods.
Avoid(have)too much sugar.If you love sugary foods(like cookies or candy),it may be a sign that you need more protein(like meat,chicken,or fish).
·Avoid holiday stress.
Cut back if you have too many things to do.Make sure that you have some quiet time to(you).Get some rest.Don't be so busy that you get run-down.Studies show that most teenagers need about 9 hours of sleep each night.The common teenagers,,get only about 6 or 7 hours of sleep per night.
·Get help.
If you feel sad all the time and the feeling won't go away,you may have a more serious problemthe winter blues.Talk to your parents or even get help from a doctor.
