Sometimes we are used to drawing a quick conclusion(结论), But is it right or not? My little son gave me a {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    One day, I took my five-year-old son to go out for a walk after dinner. On the way, we saw an old woman selling fruits. I didn't take enough money with me. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} my son liked eating fruit very much, I could buy only two pears and gave them to him.

    The little boy held the pears in his hands. I asked him if he could share one {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me. On hearing this, he quickly took a bite(咬) from one pear, and the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

    I was quite surprised. I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} myself what mistakes I had made in educating my son so that he acted in such a greedy(贪婪) way. I was lost in thought. Perhaps I was just {#blank#}6{#/blank#} too much. My son was too young to know about sharing and giving.

    Suddenly, my son gave me the pear in his right hand and said, “Mom, you have this one. This one is much sweeter.” Then I knew why my little son took a bite from {#blank#}7{#/blank#} pear.

    From then on, I always tell myself not to reach a conclusion too {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. Try to spend some more time in understanding things better.

    Alec plays the violin and Stella plays the flute in the band at their school. The school has two bands {#blank#}1{#/blank#}are known as the training band and the concert band. Everyone begins in the training band. “At the very beginning, I played it {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(terrible)!” says Stella. “My family asked me to practice in the back yard {#blank#}3{#/blank#}they didn't like the noise.”

    Alec and Stella have been playing their instruments for a year now so they sound much better. They are both in the concert band and they are learning    {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(difficult) music than before. “We're learning the music from the film Pirates of the Caribbean. It sounds fantastic!” says Alec. “It is really great{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(play) in the band with other kids.”

    As well as being fun, many {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(scientist) say that learning a musical instrument is good for your brain. It helps children {#blank#}7{#/blank#}their reading and math skills. It helps them learn to concentrate. Alec thinks that learning the violin has helped {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(he) at school. “I have to concentrate and think about nothing when I'm practicing,” he says. “And now it's easier for me to concentrate on my schoolwork.”

    Learning music can {#blank#}9{#/blank#}help children become more sure of themselves. As Stella says, “The first time I {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(stand) in front of an audience I was scared. But now I really enjoy it.”

    There are many children without parents. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (meet) some of these children with my mother. We taught them to tell {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ( story ). This helped them express their {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (feel). One child said, "My friends don't {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (understand) my pain."

    We spent time with a girl {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (call) Vivien.  Her parents {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(die) in a car accident, and she is unhappy {#blank#}7{#/blank#} very lonely. She needs friendship. My mother and I will continue {#blank#}8{#/blank#} visit Vivien.

    I want to help disabled children. They have difficulty walking {#blank#}9{#/blank#}moving. I taught them to sing. Music can bring them joy and peace. I met a boy called Tim. He hurt his legs in an accident, but he has lots {#blank#}10{#/blank#}courage. We need to help children like Tim and raise their spirits.
