Bank of China and Alibaba are the dream employers for Chinese students, according to a new survey.

    The survey of more than 55,000 students , {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (conduct) by a research firm Universum, found that{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (rough) a quarter want to work for an international company, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} only 9% want to work for a start-up and Five per cent want to start their own business.

    When it comes to desirable companies, business students {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (name) Bank of China the top choice for seven years and it shows no signs of giving up its lead.

    William Wu, manager of Universum, said that banking remains {#blank#}5{#/blank#} attractive industry for young Chinese. “China's government is now emphasizing the revolution of the finance industry, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} leaves the younger generation with the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (impress) that though banking is a traditional industry, there are still a lot of development {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (opportunity),” Wu said.

    Alibaba improved six places from 2014, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (rank) second {#blank#}10{#/blank#} business students. It held a record- breaking $25 billion IPO in September.

    Last October, while tending her garden in Mora, Sweden, Lena Pahlsson pulled out a handful of small{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(carrot) and was about to throw them away. But something made her look closer, and she noticed a{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(shine) object. Yes, there beneath the leafy top of one tiny carrot was her long-lost wedding ring.

    Pahlsson screamed{#blank#}3{#/blank#}loudly that her daughter came running from the house. "She thought I had hurt{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(I)," says Pahlsson.

    Sixteen years {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(early), Pahlsson had removed the diamond ring{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(cook) a meal. When she wanted to put the ring back on later, it was gone. She suspected that one of her three daughters — then ten, eight, and six — had picked it up, but the girls said they hadn't. Pahlsson and her husband {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(search) the kitchen, checking every corner, but turned up nothing. "I gave up hope of finding my ring again," she says. She never replaced it.

    Pahlsson and her husband now think the ring probably got {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(sweep) into a pile of kitchen rubbish and was spread over the garden{#blank#}9{#/blank#}it remained until the carrot's leafy top accidentally sprouted (生长) through it. For Pahlsson, its return was{#blank#}10{#/blank#}wonder.

    The Moon's near side, the one we all see, has been the target of many robotic and human missions. However, its far side, also {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (call)the dark side because it faces away from the Earth and little {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (know)about it, has never been explored. That changed on Jan.2, 2019, when Chinese spacecraft Chang'e 4 made a soft landing on {#blank#}3{#/blank#} is often referred to as the dark side.

    The landing is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} example of China's growing desire {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (compete)with the American, Russian and European space programs. China also wants to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (strength)its position as a regional and international power.

    One of the great {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (difficulty)in exploring the far side of the Moon is that it blocks all radio signals, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (make)it impossible to communicate with the Earth. To overcome this difficulty, in 2017, the Chinese National Space Administration launched a satellite to orbit the Moon and relay the signals. Once a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (rely)communication path was in place, Chang'e 4 could send back information.

    Chang'e 4 will make astronomical observations and examine the structure and mineral composition of the ground above and below the surface, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} researchers believe will provide insights into the solar system's early days and perhaps even the origin of the first stars.
