In the past black people in South Africa {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(live) a miserable life. They could not vote to choose their {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(leader). They could not get jobs they wanted. The parts of town in which they had to live {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (decide) by white people. They lived in the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(poor) areas in the country and could not get jobs they wanted. Nelson Mandela, a modern hero, called black people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} fight against white people to make black and white people equal.     There once was a forest filled with happy animals. One day a raccoon(浣熊) found some socks left behind by picnickers, and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (decide) to wear them.     When the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (injure) animals came to see Doctor Bear, he told them,“Your clothes are killing you. You don't need them.”

    Those {#blank#}10{#/blank#} listened to the doctor's advice finally understood they didn't need clothes. They'd only started wearing clothes to make others envy them.

    Wilbur and Orille Wright are brothers famous for inventing the first aeroplane. Their interest in flight{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(start) on the day when their father brought home a toy helicopter for them. It was made of paper and wood. Have you ever tasted or perhaps heard of sugar painting? As fewer people choose to make sugar paintings, the traditional Chinese folk craft might have become a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (distance) memory in some ways. However, a 38-year-old craftsman, Li Jiangzhong, is devoted to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (keep) the art of sugar painting alive.

Li worked as a miner for more than ten years. Li loved painting when he was young, and he found it easy to learn the skill in sugar painting. He soon mastered the skill and could make {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (vary) of sugar paintings.
