Spring is very pretty in Shandong. It is sunny and warm. There are many flowers in the garden. The leaves are green.     

My favourite season is summer. In summer, the weather is usually very hot. So I can swim in the lake with my friends.

    Autumn is a golden season of a year. I can eat some fruit on the farm. It is sweet and delicious.

    In winter, it often snows. I can skate and play in the snow with my parents.

    The summer holiday is coming. The students in Class One are talking about their holiday. Peter is going to go back to England to see his parents. Liu Xing is going to go to Tibet(西藏)to visit his aunt. Cindy is going to learn to swim during the summer holiday. Lucy and Lily are twins(双胞胎). They are going to Beijing with their parents. There are many famous places in Beijing，such as the Summer Palace and Beihai Park. Everyone has a good plan.

    To be tall and strong

    To be tall and strong is a dream for a lot of teenage(青少年的) boys. It's Mike's dream, too.

    One day, Mike didn't do well in PE class. He went home unhappily.

    "What's the matter?" Mike's father asked.

    "I want to be taller and stronger. What should I do? Can I take some special(特殊的) medicine?" Mike asked.

    "Being healthy is more important," Mike's father said.

    Mike's father was right. No special medicine can make you taller and stronger. First, Mike should eat three meals a day. He must eat more fruit and vegetables. Exercise is important, too. Mike should try to exercise every day.

    This is Jim's bedroom. It's new and nice. A bed and a chair are in it. A desk is on the floor. Some flowers are on it. A bookshelf(书架)is behind the bed. Some English(英语) books are on the shelf. A picture is on the wall. Some people are in the picture. The man is his father. The woman is his mother. Who is the boy? Do you know?
