Jane: Three. I like it. It's fun.

    Hello! I'm Peter. I'm nine years old. I'm a pupil of Grade Three. I have got a small room. It's clean. There is a blue desk in my room. I have got a big bag on the desk. I have got many books in the bag. I have got a new pencil-box. There are many pencils, two rubbers and a long ruler in the pencil-box.

    It's all white outside because it snows. Miss Cat says," Oh, dear! It's very nice outside. Let's make a snowman." Making a snowman isn't very easy.so they workhard. Oh, how nice the snowman is! Mr. Dog puts his hat on the snowman's head. After that, they are very hungry. Their lunch is some fish, some bones and a big cake. Mr. Dog says," It's the middle of the day.The snowman must be hungry. Let's give the cake to him." "All right!" says Miss Cat. But the snowman isn't there. They can only see the hat. Where is he?

    In this winter vacation, I am going to prepare for a Peking Opera competition. Last year, my clock was broken. I was late and missed the competition. That was a great pity. I hope I can win the first prize this year.

    I am also going to Xiamen to visit my grandparents. Xiamen is in the south of China. I am going to give my photos of the competition to them. I think they will be very happy. I am looking forward to seeing them.

    A town mouse and a country mouse were friends. One day, the town mouse visited the country mouse. The country mouse prepared lots of food he grew, but the town mouse didn't like it.

    After eating, the town mouse asked the country mouse to come to his town. The town mouse showed the visitor into his room which had a lot of nice food. The country mouse had never seen anything like that and sat down to enjoy the food. But right before they had eaten, the door opened and someone came in. The two mice had to hide themselves in a narrow hole. After a while, when it was quiet again, they came out. But someone else came in, and they hid again.

    "Goodbye," said the country mouse, "I'm leaving. You have a lot of nice food to eat. I can see, but there is so much danger." In the end, the country mouse decided to go back home and he no longer envied town at all.

    Mr and Mrs White have three daughters. They are Alice, Kitty and Rose. Rose is the youngest of the three daughters. She is two years younger than Alice. Alice is thirteen. She and Kitty are twins. They are all pretty and lovely. They study in the same school. Their parents are both doctors, but they don't work in the same hospital. They love their daughters very much.

    Mr White likes music very much. He always listens to music when he drives the car. And he likes reading books, too. After dinner he helps the children with their studies, and then he goes into the study to read books. He goes to bed very late. Father's Day is coming. What presents do the children give to their father? The youngest sister wants to buy a watch for her father, but she doesn't have enough money. She buys a book as a Father's Day gift. And the twin sisters buy some CDs for their father. Mr White is very happy when he gets these presents.
