    How to Help Children Learn From Their Mistakes

    Everyone makes mistakes.As parents, it's our duty to help our children learn from their mistakes. Turning a mistake into a learning experience will help your child grow. Here are some tips for helping children leam from their mistakes.

    Explain exactly what the mistake is. It's important to make your child accept the fact that he made a mistake. Talk with your child and help him exactly understand what he did is not right. Never imagine he knows; always talk over the problem early.

    Ask your child to make an apology if his mistakes hurt others. This step takes a mistake that is connected with another person even further.By making your child go to see and talk with the person who was hurt, he will more fully understand the results of the mistake and learn from that bad experience.

    Offer suggestion in different ways to lead your child to avoid making the same mistakes again. You can choose to share your personal examples if you had the same problem before. He may not want to do exactly the same thing, but it will get him to start in the right direction.

    Having your child try to work through the problem and know how to deal with it on by himself will help develop his reasoning skills, which is good for his self-development. In this way, he will know what he should do if a similar situation appears in the future.

A. Tell your child how you dealt with the problem.

B. Now it's time to help him properly correct mistakes.

C. Praise him if he fully understands the- mistake he made.

D. Children need to learn the results of their mistakes.

E. Learning from mistakes is what makes us become better people.

F. Encourage your child to find a way to deal with the problem alone.

G. Sometimes a child fails to know why the things he did are wrong.

    Trust has been considered as the basis of any relationship, including friendship. No relationship can last long with a lack of trust. Not many of your friends will have real faith in you as you would like to believe. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Sometimes, it takes years, even a complete lifetime, to trust someone. However, how do we know if our friends have faith in us?

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#} With whom will you share things that you don't want everyone to know? It would be with a close friend, whom you trust as much as you trust yourself.

    Whom do you look up to for advice when you need it the most? It has to be either your parents or your friends. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}____ This is a shining example of trust. You only seek advice from people you hold in high regard and find dependable. The friends who trust you will never forget to include you in the important decisions of their life.

    Arguments and heated discussions are a part of every relationship, and this is also true for friendship. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} While some people find it difficult to forgive and forget, your friends will never have problems moving on. It is because they trust you and believe that you will never cause any pain to them on purpose.

    There are times in life when you find yourself a lonely soldier. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Your friends will never let you down and will strongly stand for you when you need encouragement. Hollywood movies are regularly filled with sex and violence. They can be exciting films but sometimes all you want is a 1ittle 1ight-hearted entertainment.

Have you heard of Bollywood? All singing, all dancing and unrealistic, it is the perfect alternative to normal Hollywood movies. Bollywood is the Indian film industry, based in Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Yet Bollywood is the largest producer of films in the world. This year the Indian Filmgare Awards, Bollywood's Oscars, turn 50 years old.

The typical Bollywood movie usually has the following ingredients(组成成分): a cup of romance, a tea-spoon of comedy, a dash of international sight-seeing, served with a huge slice of singing and dancing. There will also be one brave hero, one beautiful heroine and one bad guy. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

Bollywood films are full of ideal things and free of daily worries. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} The actors change clothes and locations within a single song. But the ạudience don't mind. To Indian movie lovers, especially the poor, such films are a gateway to heaven and the stars are their gods. The films take them to a magical world away from their everyday troubles. The films tell them the impossible is possible and that true 1ove conquers all.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#}Behind the beautiful scenes, Bollywọod still emphasizes(重视) traditional family values. In most films, if two lovers want to break an arranged marriage, they can't just run away. They must win over their parents.

    Bollywood is a decent(正派的) refreshing replacement for those over-stimulating(评价过高的) Hollywood films. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}They will take you to a brighter, cheerier and more colorful world where it's still cool to dance around a tree and sing a love song.

    At the end of a long day, it's all too easy to take a hot shower, brush your teeth, and then jump into bed. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} As it turns out, going to bed with wet hair isn't as harmless as you probably thought.

    The first negative result of sleeping with wet hair is purely cosmetic (美容). {#blank#}2{#/blank#} lf you try to style your hair in the morning after sleeping on it wet, you're probably going to have trouble styling the resulting curliness (卷曲), funny waves, and flat sides.

    When you wake up, you're probably going to have to re-wet it again to properly dry it and regain control. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}

    Sleeping with wet hair does not immediately damage your hair, but it can certainly lead to hair breakage, because hair is weakest when wet.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} First, you can swap your cotton pillowcases for silk ones. Silk has a much smoother surface, so you won't experience as much unfortunate breakage.

    Next, you can make sure to sleep with your hair down, instead of up in a tight ponytail. In addition, you should replace your tight bands with a soft one that isn't going to roughly pull at night.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Dry oils and texturizing mousses (摩丝) are some of the best ways to ensure you don't wake up looking like a lion while protecting your precious hair from damage.

    Now that you know how bad sleeping with wet hair is, make sure you're not making these hairstyle mistakes.

A. Finally, never skip out on applying product.

B. Here are some tips that can help dry any hair faster.

C. This unnecessarily adds time to your morning routine.

    In an online class, developing healthy patterns of communication with professors is very important. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} While I have only listed two of each, there are obviously many other situations that can arise. Students should be able to extend the logic(逻辑)of each to their particular circumstance.

    Do's

    •{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Questions about subject content are generally welcomed. Before asking questions about the course design, read the syllabus(教学大纲)and learning management system information to be sure the answer isn't hiding in plain sight.

    •Participate in discussion forums(论坛), blogs and other open-ended forums for dialogue. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Be sure to stay on topic and not offer irrelevant information. Make a point, and make it safe for others to do the same.

    Don'ts

    •Don't share personal information or stories. Professors are not trained nurses, financial aid experts or your best friends. If you are in need of a deadline extension, simply explain the situation to the professor. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    •Don't openly express annoyance at a professor or class. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} When a student attacks a professor on the social media,the language used actually says more about the student. If there is truly a concern about a professor's professionalism or ability, be sure to use online course evaluations to calmly offer your comments.

D. Ask questions, but make sure they are good, thoughtful questions.

E. Everyone has taken a not-so-great class at one time or another.

    {#blank#}1{#/blank#} While these compulsive(无法控制的) actions may appear to be irrational or pointless, and may even result in negative consequences, the individual experiencing the compulsion feels unable to stop him or herself.

    The compulsive behavior can be a physical act, like hand washing, or a mental activity, like counting objects. When an otherwise harmless behavior becomes so consuming that it negatively impacts oneself or others, it may be a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)(强迫症).

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#}The former is an overwhelming desire to do something, while an addiction is a physical or chemical dependence on a substance or behavior. People with addictions will continue their addictive behavior, even when they understand that doing so is harmful to themselves and others. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}

    Unlike compulsions and addictions, which are acted out uncontrollably, habits are actions that are repeated regularly and automatically.

    Habits typically develop over time through a natural process called "habituation," during which repetitive actions that must be consciously initiated eventually become subconscious and are carried out habitually.

    While there are good habits and bad, unhealthy habits, any habit can become a compulsion or even an addiction. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} For example, the good habit of exercising regularly can become an unhealthy compulsion or addiction when done to excess.

    Common habits often develop into addictions when they result in a chemical dependency, as in the cases of smoking. The habit of having a glass of beer with dinner, for example, becomes an addiction when the desire to drink turns into a physical or emotional need to drink.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#}While we can choose to add good, healthy habits to our routines, we can also choose to break old harmful habits.

A. A compulsion is different from an addiction.

B. It currently affects about 1 in 40 adults and 1 in 100 children in the U.S.

C. Some of these behaviors are visible actions while others are mental behaviors.

D. In other words, you really can have "too much of a good thing."

E. Compulsive behaviors are actions that a person feels "compelled" or driven to do over and over again.

F. Alcoholism, smoking, and gambling are perhaps the most common examples of addictions.

G. Of course, the key difference between a compulsive behavior and a habit is the ability to choose to do them or not.

    Your productivity is improved. Exercising makes you more awake and ready to handle whatever is ahead of you for the day. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Your metabolism(新陈代谢) gets a head start. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} If you work out in the mornings, then you will be getting the calorie(卡路里) burning benefits for the whole day, not in your sleep.
