    How is everything going recently? I'm writing to tell you something more about my birthday. The other day we hold aparty to celebrate my 18th birthday.     I'd like tell you something about your life in this boarding school. I stay in a dormitory with three other girls, all of them are kind and nice. We get on well to others and have become good friends. Living in a boarding school make me independent.     My father took me out camping for the first time when I was seven. He wanted teach me about animals, insects and trees. My uncles all come along with bows and arrows for hunting.

    One evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, have our barbecue. Just then a bird was flying over us. My uncles immediate jumped up and shot their arrows on the bird.     Last weekend, I helped my grandparents with their trip to the Dalian. On Saturday morning, together with my grandparents, I search the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Dalian, and some hotel informations. In the afternoon, they went to the train station and managed to buy two tickets for my grandparents although there had a long queue. After dinner, I packed the things into the suitcase, what my grandparents would need, such as clothes, glasses, an umbrella, a map. The next morning, I went to the station to show them off. Waved goodbye to them on the platform, I felt happily for them and wished them a safe journey.

    There are many hurricanes occur around the world every year. Knowing what to do during a hurricane is of great important to survive.

    Listening to the weather forecast so that you know when a hurricane is coming.     Last weekend, after pay a visit to the city of New York, I visited the Smithsonian Institutions National Air and Space Museum, where lies in Washington, D.C.

    The museum, which covers a area of 18,000 square meters, is made of 24 exhibition halls. All kinds of planes, rockets, missiles and spaceship of great importance and variously old instruments that famous pilots and astronauts used are on display. In addition, I see copies of some satellites and aircraft. More interestingly, I tried operating on some aircraft by myself. During the visit, I took lots of pictures as well.

    This brief visit helped myself learn much about the history of human's space exploration. It made me more interesting in science and technology.
